Thank you for joining me in today's lesson. Our subject today is understanding demons their identity, their origin, their mission and what demons do. We'll have a brief scan through all these different aspects of demons so that we can gain more understanding. Later on, I'll give you instructions on how you can join me for a time of prayer so that we can break demonic oppressions. Yes, that's why we are here for to break demonic oppressions and to bring healing to our lives and victory into our lives. Hallelujah, this is a good time and I thank you for joining me in this.

Well before you say I don't want to learn about demons, I have no time to hear about demons, now hear this from the word of God in Hosea, chapter 4 and verse 6. There the Bible says my people this is God himself saying my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. And it's not just lack of knowledge. It continues to say there because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priests for me. Because you have rejected, because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. You see what God is saying there. God is saying my own people, my people, god's people, are destroyed for lack of knowledge. So what you don't know is what will kill you, and the more knowledge you have, the better prepared you are to face the enemy. Okay, not only is it talking about about lack of knowledge, but it's also talking about our people who have rejected. He said because you have rejected knowledge, so don't do one of those. He said because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being my priests. Israel was chosen to be priests for the nation to reveal God. Okay, and if you reject, because they were rejected, the knowledge of God, then God said I will also reject you from bringing peace for me. So we want to have knowledge, we want to deepen our understanding. It's a very vital thing.

What does John, chapter 8, verse 32, say? Jesus says and you shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free. So it is the truth that you know, it is the truth that you imbibe in your spirit, and I keep emphasizing this it has to go beyond. We have a lot of head knowledge, but we need that knowledge to hear it until it transcends from our minds and get into our spirits, man, because your life is that's where the wellspring of life is. Your life is controlled from your spirit. If your spirit goes, your body drops dead. Okay, so your life should be coming from your spirit. You want to lord your spirit with the truths that will make you free. Jesus says you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free. Okay, we want to know our enemy.

Paul says in 2 Corinthians, chapter 2 and verse 11, lest Satan takes advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices. He hear that he says lest Satan take advantage over us, because we are not ignorant of his devices. We have to know that we have an enemy. We have the enemy. The devil is out there and he is fighting you. He's fighting everyone else, whether you are aware of it or not. He wants to destroy human. He want to destroy human beings. He is a strong enemy of human beings because they are created in the image of God and he wants to fight God. And because he cannot fight God, he came down with wrath to pour out his anger upon human beings created in the image of God. And so Paul says we are not ignorant, lest the enemy takes advantage, what it means. The enemy capitalizes on our ignorance. Lest the enemy take advantage. He will take advantage, lest the enemy outweigh us, because we are not ignorant of his devices or his schemes, or his strategies or his designs. He is strategic. He has designs, he has ways and means and plans that he has set in order to destroy the lives of God's people. We don't want to be those who want to reject knowledge. We want to have knowledge. We want to. The time, the minutes that you spend here and hearing the truth, that's what is going to help you. That's what will help me.

This morning, I was coming to my prayer room, as I always do, and I was just about to get down on my knees and begin to talk to God and the Holy Spirit began to speak to me right there, even before I had prayed. It's as though he was waiting for me. I want to speak to God. God wanted to speak to me. He was reminded me a powerful truth and I started writing down. This is what he said Do you know why Jesus was able to walk in victory? All his days on earth? Jesus never lost anything. He walked here. Do you know why? And the answer came right there Jesus knew who he was, he knew his enemy and he knew how to deal with the enemy. I was like, wow, that was so powerful. It came so powerful in my spirit. Jesus knew who he was and then he knew he knew his enemy and then he knew how to deal with the enemy, his enemy, the devil, who wanted to conquer him the same way he had conquered the first Adam.

Remember how Jesus, the Bible, says in in John, chapter 13, I think he's in verse 3 there Jesus knowing who he was and that he had come from God and that he was going back to God, jesus operated on the realm of knowledge. He had knowledge. That's why, even when storms came and we will face storms you're gonna face storms. Storms, storms are part of life. They will come. But Jesus was walking on the storm. He's here, storm, he walked. He walked on the storm why? Because he had knowledge of who he was. He had knowledge of his capabilities and beloved we will be exposing in these teachings. We will be, we'll be learning some truths that will amaze with knowledge and power to be able to Face the enemy. We know who our enemies, we know who we are. We know what God has done for us in us and who who is for us.

When Paul was bitten by a Venoma snake, has been in a storm, you know, and and is bitten by a venomous snake, people expecting him to die. He just shook. Just shook the snake into the fire and he didn't even bother. He just continue as if nothing has happened. Man, to walk in such victory, to walk with such confidence, you have to have knowledge. That's why we're spending time, spending moment. We want to be armed with the truths. Hallelujah, all right. So let's have a subject today. We want to to know our enemy and we want to understand demons.

Understanding Demons, first of all, their identity. Who are they? Who are these demons? You know now, demons are disembodied personalities difficult words there. They are disembodied personalities. That means they are personalities Without bodies. They are spirit. A spirit is a person without a body. You and I, in contrast for you can understand you and I are spirits. I am a spirit, you are a spirit with a body. Because you are a spirit, you can. A spirit cannot die. Your spirit never dies, you will not die. But when your spirit gets out of this body, this body drops dead. When you die, your spirit goes, leaves this body. So you have a body. Through this body you are able to express yourself in this world. So you are a person. But what makes you as a person? Also those characteristics. We find them in demons. They have all those characteristics. A person has persona. A person has a, has intellectual power, your ability to think, reason.

Okay, and demons, we see them revealed, they, they, they have intellect. For example, jesus talks about in mother chapter 12. You can go and read the. In mother chapter 12 he says when a demon comes out of a person, he goes through dry lands and the finding no race. It says I will go back, I to my house where I used to live. And he comes back he finds a place swept clean and then he says no, I'm going to take other, I'm going out. He goes and gets seven more other demons and they come and live. So you see here demons making choice. They make a choice. So they have a will, they make a choice, they reason out. Okay, they have intellectual, they have understanding, they have knowledge. Like when Jesus came into a synagogue, demons started shouting. In Mark, chapter one, he says shouting what have you to do with us, jesus Christ? They say we know who you are. You are the son of God. Demons knew. How do. They know they have supernatural knowledge. So demons know they have intellectual power, they are speaking through a person so they can speak.

Demons also have emotions. Those are all traits and characteristics of a person. They are emotional people. They have, they are emotional beings. If you go to the book of James, as James says there you believe in God. You do well, good. You believe in God. But demons also believe and tremble and tremble. That trembling is a sign of emotion, a fear. They are afraid. You know, when they saw Jesus and say, have you come to torment us before our time, they were trembling. They were trembling, they are afraid.

So demons are personalities, they are persons, only that they don't have a body. And because they don't have a body, they crave to live in a body, especially human bodies. They love to live in human bodies. They begin to express their personality. If it is a demon, for example, of last, it wants to get into a human body and begin to express that personality. So they are persons with emotions. That's number one. That is how to identify demons, identify their spirits or their persons without bodies and they want to get into a body. And if they cannot find a human body, the second option is to go to an animal's body. Remember Jesus when he was casting out the demons of the Gadarians, when he said please send us to the pigs. They didn't want to go out into the arid areas. They crave to get into a body. So they are spirits without personalities, without bodies, who crave to live in a body.

Let's go to the second thing their origin. Where did they come from? Where did these demons come from? Demons, where did they come from? Now, they are created beings. They are all creatures because there is only one creator, god. God created even Satan. So first of all, they are created beings. Number two we see their spirits that are under the dominion or control of Satan. Those are things we see because they serve the interests and purposes of Satan to still kill and to destroy human beings. Remember what Jesus said in John, chapter 10, verse 10. It says the thief comes not but to steal and kill and destroy. But I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. So the enemy comes. His purpose is just that still kill, destroy Once, destroy man. But we have Jesus who has come that we may have life and have it more abundantly. Have life and have it abundantly Abundant life is ours, hallelujah. So they are created, they are under the control of Satan. That means they belong to the kingdom of Satan. That's what we understand about demons.

My take is that they are angels. They are angels but low-cutter angels, because angels, even in the kingdom of God, angels have hierarchy, they have levels of power and responsibility. We see Michael, for example, being called the prince, the archangel Michael. He is the warrior, so he is high up there in God's kingdom. Then we see Gabriel, for example, is a messenger, but high up there, angel Gabriel Now. So the angels are arranged, they are organized, but they are in ranks. They are angels who are given charge over us. So we all have angels who look at that at some point. But in the same way, in the kingdom of Satan, angels are also arranged in hierarchy. They have order. They are very organized. Satan is at the top. Satan is the only one. But Satan is not God. He cannot be everywhere at the same time. Only God can be everywhere at the same time. So Satan has these demon spirits, these angelic beings which are arranged in order.

Paul reveals that to us in Ephesians, chapter 6 and verse 12, where he said we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities and rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. Now that spiritual host of wickedness, that's the lowest level, the highest will be principally the princes of different areas, and so that's arranged in order, and I just believe that demons are on the lower corner. They are the ones in charge of wickedness, all the wicked activity, and they take orders from those above them and arrange in that order. That's all that we really need to know. That these are, these are, these are, these are spirits who are in the kingdom. Demons are spirits, if you want to use. My understanding is that they are angels and I believe that. I believe that because if I go to a Matthew 25 verse 41 and don't use that as a, as a proof, but it helps me to understand in Matthew 25 verse 41.

Jesus was talking about him being on the judgment seat and separating the sheep from the gods the ship to go to the to the right and the gods to the to the left, and then he will say to those on the left side you know those on the left he will say there, away from me, you who are cast away from me, you who are cast, and go to the everlasting fires, which was created for the devil and his angels. See, that's why Jesus said that the everlasting fire, hell, was created for the devil and his angel, and this is significant. Hell was not created for man. No, god loves man. God created man in his own image. That's why he sent his only begotten son, jesus Christ, that whoever believes in him should not perish and he should not be separated from God forever. See this. But you will have everlasting life If you are not a believer, if you are not accepted. Jesus Christ, you need to do this. So I said, hell was not created for man. It was created for the devil and his angel. Who are these, his angel?

All those hierarchies? Those are the princes and the powers and the rulers of the darkness of this age. You know they're in charge of putting keeping people in darkness. You know, and we'll talk about that, about their mission, in the next stage. So, rulers of the darkness of this age is so much darkness. People are confused, people are deceived, so much deceiving and is all fighting, fighting the word of God, keeping people from the truth, keeping people from the knowledge of the truth, from understanding what God has already done.

So rulers of the darkness and the spiritual horse of wickedness, all those hellos created for them. But then it also includes all those who have deliberately rejected the truth, deliberately rejected Christ, the offer of the gift of God. Why would anybody refuse the gift of God? It's amazing, but if you're one of those, god loves you, God didn't create hell for you. He created heaven, paradise to live with God, to reign with God. All you need is to open your eyes, open your heart to him and say God, I need to, because you will not die. Your body will die if Jesus comes before, before. Then you will be changed if you're a believer, but when your spirit goes, your spirit will live forever, either in paradise with God or in hell with Satan and his angel. That's not a good place to go, but anyways, that's not our subject, but it's important that we bring that one out to help those who have not made a decision. So hell was for the devil and his angels, and those are demons and all those higher hierarchies above who are under certain control in the kingdom of darkness.

Right, so we have seen about their identity, we have seen about their origin, but let's know, then, what is their mission? Well, their mission is very simple. Their names also are able to help us understand their mission. They are called demons. They are also called evil or wicked spirit, depending on the translation that you are reading. They are called demons or evil spirit or unclean spirit. See those three names. They speak, they are used interchangeable Demons, evil spirits or unclean spirit. Those names already just tell us what, what they do. You know they are in charge of all uncleanness. They're in charge of all wickedness, wicked spirit, evil. All right, so they are there. What are they or their mission?

They are the primary agents of Satan for warfare against the human race. Let me repeat that demons are the primary agents for warfare against the human race. Their work is to torment. Their work is to is to steal, kill and to destroy. Their work is to make the life of man miserable here, and all doing this is so that man will say God is not good. Oh, god has forsaken me. That's the intention of Satan.

Now the Bible says God is good. God is good. Praise the Lord, for he is good. His mass is endure forever. That's who God is. God is a good God. God is a loving God. God is a caring God. God loves you, god cares for you and that's why he sent Jesus. He says what will it benefit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? Don't lose your soul. These fleeting pleasures of this world, they are all passing, they are so temporary. But there is everlasting life. And so Satan's work, or demons, they have a work to make the life of the human rights miserable, so that even those who are Christians say God does not. You don't want to say God is good because of the tombs, because of the, of the pain, the heartaches and the problem. But that's the work.

Evil is from Satan. God is good, evil is satanic, the kingdom of Satan. But we do know, of course, when we go through God allows those hardships. Sometimes they come. That's the Bible. I have to teach the whole counsel of God. You see, james says consider pure joy when you go through trials of many kinds, because the testing of your faith develops patience, and patience must finish his work. Endurance finishes work so that you may become perfect. That's mature. God uses difficult moments, hardships, to mature us. But that's not our subject now. I just want to make sure people don't feel like I'm saying all evil, all evil. But I'm saying demons are the agents of evil in the satanic kingdom wanting to make God look bad.

Okay, now there are many descriptive names that we see in the scriptures which tell us, which kind of gave us an idea of the missions of these demons. There's so many names, there's so many different, different demon, demon spirits, that we cannot mention all, but I'll just touch, mention a few of them which will give you an idea. For example, we have a tomentas, for example Tumentas. Jesus said those who refuse to, those who refuse to forgive, they will be handed over to tomentas. These tomentas are actually demons. Demons are tomentas to toment. Don't play with unforgiveness as toment.

The other name we see in the Bible is spirit of infamy. Infamy is weakness, is sickness, spirit of sicknesses. So there are sicknesses, some sicknesses which are caused by demons, demonic sicknesses. Now, not all sicknesses are caused by demons, right, so we don't blame demons for everything, but there are many, many diseases. There are spirits of infamy and we see them in the Bible. A demon is removed, a person is healed, a demon is cast out, a demon is expelled and that person is healed. That's why we're doing here. We want to be able to use the authority to learn and impact. And give you tools. Give you tools to walk in victory, to walk in power, to walk in conquer, because that's what Jesus paid for at Calvary. And we have to, we have to bring it, we have to bring this knowledge so that we can walk in power and victory, hallelujah.

So those spirits of infamy, other names, we see seducing spirits. What does that tell you? Seducing spirit? These are seduced, they seduce. You see somebody coming to seduce, is a spirit walking through them, seduces, seducing spirits, and you see them all over. You know, you can, you can easily see this one is being used by a seducing spirit.

They're also lying spirits. There are people who are habitual liars. Okay, all of us find ourselves oh, I have lied, that was a lie. Okay, it doesn't mean you have a demon, no. But when you have a lying spirit, oh, my goodness, you are anointed. In lying, you lie. There are people who are like that. They're just habitual liars, it's a lying spirit in them. Okay, one of the work of lying spirit is to keep people away from the truth. They, they deceive, they're deceiving spirits and in these last days we'll see so much more increase of these, these demons of lying. The Bible says in the last days, many will depart from the truth and follow deceiving spirits. You see that Deceiving spirits, men who will forget their, reject the truth and follow deceiving spirits, so those that's a work of demons.

Okay, there are also other demons called pavah spirit, spirits of pavah. Spirit actually is sexual pavah. We see, all over people are carried away. So that was created like that. No, it's a demon spirit. It's a demon spirit, spirit of pavah. It's also spirit of fear. If you're always afraid, fear is a spirit, fear is a spirit. We'll deal with that as we continue learning more.

Okay, so what do demons do? What do demons do? Just summing up what we've been talking Demons, they torment, they are tormentors. Right, demons are harras. You know they harras. You know they just sent there to make life miserable, make life painful.

Harras, remember I was growing up, we, I was here. Sometimes we are asleep in the night and demons come into animals and they're walking on our, on our, on our, on our ceiling. Remember one time at night when I was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, I was, I was at home and I'm at home, and a witch came and was walking on the roof, our roofs. We don't have ceilings, so we just iron sheets. So it's iron sheets. And I could hear him walking, boom, boom, boom on top of the roof of my home and I I immediately said in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. When I said that I had a loud sound just outside, as if the fellow had fallen down, boom, see, it just came to harass me at night. I said never attempt that. No, because I knew who I was.

I stood up in a crusade, open air, knitting at home, and I said if you think you are a witch and you can be witch me, you don't even have to come at night. Come at home and say much here, I want to be witch you and I will cook for you. You will do your paraphernalia and all that. We'll talk about this and you'll still see me going. Why? It's because I know who I am in Christ. Witches have no power over me.

So what do demons do? They harass, you know. The demons can give physical strength to people. Demons can bring supernatural wealth, people who are making wealth through demonic powers. Demons can we know? There's witchcraft, there is mediums, there's psychics, divination, so much more that demons do.

Demons ultimately want to keep people from God. Deception, especially in religions, religions and and cultures that want to seal people, those are demonically influenced. The Bible says every spirit that denies that Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. Any spirit that refuses that Jesus Christ is the Son of God is led by demonic spirits. It is a spirit that is a demon spirit. So all false religion, all false religion they are under demonic control is a stronghold of Satan to keep people blinded, to keep people from the truth. But we have a responsibility to send this word of truth. Demons also cause sicknesses and diseases. They cause sicknesses and diseases we have seen here. So there's so many activities that demons do.

I just mentioned a few and in our next teaching I'll begin to share with you signs and symptoms of demonic oppression. How do I tell? Do I have a demon? How do I tell whether what I'm dealing with is either demonic or is not demonic? We'll try to look at some of those so that we can pick them out, but you don't have to wait for the next teaching to come. Maybe you're saying, oh, I need prayers. I think I have a demon. I really feel I have a demon. I am oppressed and I have an oppression. I want, I want prayer. I want to break this cycle. Well, you don't have to wait for that. I created a teaching, I did a teaching, the last teaching, and I said it's time for your miracle. Look for it. It's the first teaching.

Do it again, do it again, do it until your faith comes alive. That's what the Bible says Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. You have to, you have to fight is a battle. You have to get in, you have to do it again. If you have to do it again and again, do it until the enemy knows you believe that that prayer, you believe that God will help you Once you come, once it gets into your spirit and that truth gets hold. The power of God, god will see your determination. God will see your determination, your determination. You are fighting. God owns faith. You have to know that God owns faith. He's still in the business of doing miracles. Do it Go, go into it, Do it. Pray again, pray again, hear the prayer, do whatever. The spirit will be leading you as you listen to that message. Take instruction, do it, listen again, agree, turn, fight Together. I agree, I believe God for miracles for many people out there. Hallelujah. Well, our time is up for that.
