Unlock the shackles of generational curses that might be stifling your progress – you'll be equipped with the wisdom and spiritual tools to do just that by the end of our deep dive into ancestral legacies. Our foray into the spiritual realm reveals the haunting notion that the disobedient actions of our forebears could have lasting repercussions. Drawing from scriptures like Lamentations and Deuteronomy, we've pieced together how unaddressed transgressions from up to 4 generations ago may continue to cast a shadow over us, and how we can break free.

As we examine the symptoms that may indicate the presence of such spiritual burdens—persistent misfortune, unexplained family patterns, or unyielding poverty—we don't just stop at identification. Follow me as we trace the steps of Daniel in the Bible, embracing the potent combination of confession and communal prayer to sever the ties of these ancient binds. Through a heartfelt acknowledgment of ancestral sins and a powerful prayer for liberation, we aim to guide you towards a breakthrough, empowering you to reclaim control over your spiritual journey and the prosperity of your lineage. Speaker 1:

Hi and welcome to today's teaching. It's a podcast series where I share truths that can help us be delivered from demonic oppressions Faith Celebration Ministries International in Kenya and Pastor of Faith Life Victory Church in Houston, texas. In our teaching we were looking at ways in which demons find legal rights to come in and oppress to come in and oppress and we started on looking on the first one, which is generational curse. If you missed last week's teaching, I would urge you to be able to go and watch that teaching, because it's very, very important. This is an area or a subject that is highly neglected. So in today's teaching I will share with you causes of generational curse, things that can bring generational curses, and then we will also look at some signs and symptoms of generational curses. Afterwards we will quickly look at how to break these generational curses and have some time of prayer over that. So stay with me. Very critical subject. I cannot say this enough. I cannot say this enough. It's very, very important to listen and understand the things that we are learning here. Just to recap, so that, just in case there's those who missed last teaching, they can be able to merge in and understand some of the things we shared about generational curses. We saw how that God has said generational curses can go up to the third and the fourth generations behind us. Okay, where we look at that and those are many, many people you have two parents, then you have four grandparents and then eight great-great-grandparents and then 16 great-great-great-grandparents. If you combine all those, you're talking about 30 people, different individuals going backwards. Individuals going backwards. It could be hundreds of years and any of those could have been involved in some practices or in some situations that could have attracted a curse and that curse can come to affect us.

Speaker 1:

Then we read a verse in Lamentation, which I want to start with. That way we can also be able to understand Lamentation chapter 5. Lamentation chapter 5 in verse 7 and 8. This is what we saw there Jeremiah is lamenting Remember, jeremiah is in captivity and because of a curse that has come upon him and his fellow Jews. And in Lamentations 5 and verse 7, he says Our fathers sinned and are no more, but we bear their iniquities. Then he says in verse 9, servants rule over us. There is none to deliver us from their hands. So if you look there, jeremiah is saying we are bearing the consequences of the sins of our forefathers.

Speaker 1:

Now we looked at how somebody may be saying hey, you know what? I am saved, I am born again. Yes, it's true, you are born again. You are delivered from the penalty of the sins that you have committed. You're going to heaven. You are a child of God.

Speaker 1:

But we answered this, this question can my sins be forgiven and yet I still suffer the consequences of past sins, of past sins or what was done before? And we had a classic example. That's what we finished with is in the Bible. I urge you to go and listen to the whole message.

Speaker 1:

But in a nutshell, we saw how King David in 2 Samuel 12, how King David himself sinned, committed adultery, murdered Uriah, took somebody else's wife. Prophet Nathan confronted him. David repented, ask God to confronted him. David repented, ask God to forgive him. He was forgiven, but tell you what the consequences of his sin have followed David's family. They went on and on and on and there was a lot of trouble in the family of King David Incest, murders and all kinds of himself running away, his own son wanting to kill him. And so those are the consequences of the sin, because God said you brought a reproach, it was a reproach what you did.

Speaker 1:

So we are forgiven, yes, as as jeremiah is saying but the consequences of those sins can come upon us, and a curse is like a shadow that comes from. It could be coming from hundreds of years back and it's following. It's following you like it's something that you want to go forward, but it is a force. I defined what a curse is. Please go back again and listen to that. But again, a curse is really a negative force. It's a negative, spiritual, supernatural force that comes to him. The progress brings mischief, misfortunes and all kinds of trouble, and so we need to understand this.

Speaker 1:

I said I'll take a little bit more time on this one way that the devil sees. Remember what the devil does he looks for legal rights, he knows the word of god, he trembles at the word of god and he knows god is committed to fulfill, uh, his, his own word, so he can go in and demand that okay. And so we, we have to deal. We have to deal with the sins of the past. So we looked at that and we finished very nicely. So I want to continue on that so that we can be able to look at some of the causes. What could have caused these curses to come upon us. What are some of the causes of curses that could have been done by? Either we are committing them now or they were done in the past. And now they are casting a dark shadow and following us and bringing trouble in our lives.

Speaker 1:

And the first one, the first cause of a curse, which really is the basic I think almost all the others spring forth from this. The first one is disobedience to God's voice and commands. Now, many of us, if you are a reader of the Bible, you know Deuteronomy, chapter 28 is called the chapter of blessings and curses. So the first 14 verses they talk about blessings and then, from verse 15 all the way to 64, it talks about curses that will come upon God's people, god's chosen people there. So I will not read the whole of it, I just want you to go and read what is said there. But Deuteronomy, I read Deuteronomy, chapter number 28, verse 15. I'll read that and then we will carry from there. It says this. It says but it shall come to pass if you do not obey the voice of the Lord, your God, to observe carefully all his commandments and his statutes, which I command you this day Look at that God says very clearly. He tells his own people. If you do not obey, if you do not listen and obey the voice of the Lord, your God, and to observe them so there is listening and then obedience to do what God has said then you come immediately under a curse. You face a curse from God. So it is number one. It is obedient, disobedient to the voice and commands of the Lord. Let's go to the second one. The second one is idolatry. Okay, idolatry.

Speaker 1:

Now we read exodus, chapter 20 last time again, we'll read it here so that we can be able to see idolatry comes very closely with the disobeying God. You know cursing God, talking evil about God. But I don't worry, he's having other God. Remember, in Exodus, chapter 20, god is giving what we call the Ten Commandments. So verse 1 and 2, he says I am the Lord, your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of slavery, out of bondage. And the first commandment he says you shall have no other gods besides me. All right, so I'm reading now Exodus, chapter 20, verse 3, all the way to verse 5. Listen, you can go and listen again. He says you shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, any likeness of anything that is above or in earth or beneath the earth or that is under the order. You shall not bow down to them, nor serve them. Now, that does not need elaboration. I covered at length that. God says I visit that's God's own word, and he watches as well. I visit the iniquity of the fathers upon their children, even to the third and fourth generation, and we saw how far that can go. You're talking about a fourth generation and different individuals. Any of that, as long as you are part of that, you come under that, All right. So let's go to the third one. We have to run because we have a couple of things to share.

Speaker 1:

The third thing that could bring in a curse is dishonoring god in offerings. Dishonoring god in offerings, oh my goodness, this is a sweet one. This is a. This is somewhere that all of us can get caught up so easily. But let me read. If you go and read the book of Malachi, right, malachi, chapter one, all from chapter one, malachi, I think it's from verse six God is lamenting, god is through the prophet, how the children of Israel were dishonoring.

Speaker 1:

He say if I am a father to you, where is the owner due to me and they were asking how are we dishonoring? He said you are dishonoring me in your offerings. People were bringing lame animals. They were bringing the sick. They were bringing stolen animals. He said if you do that somebody brings in a lame animal. God wants something unblemished. He wants the fast food. And then they were bringing in lame animals, they were bringing the sick. They were bringing something stolen to come and offer. And that was grieving God.

Speaker 1:

God said I don't want any more of your offering because you are dishonoring me. You are giving to me the things that you don't want. Think about that. What we don't want is what we give God. It's like the way we go to the restaurants. We use our money to give ourselves the best, to eat the best, and then what is remained as change is what we give to the waiter. It's like here in America they call it a tip. So it's our offerings. Do they honor God?

Speaker 1:

I don't want to spend a lot of time on this, but I need to read a couple of verses in the book of Malachi Malachi 1, verse 14,. This is what it says but cast be the deceiver who has in his flock a male and takes a vow, but sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished, all right, cursed be. But cursed be the deceiver who has in his flock a mill and takes a vow but sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished. The key word is sacrificing to the Lord something that is blemish, something that is unwanted, something that is. We ourselves don't need it. That's what we give to God. Well, he says for I am the king, okay, for I am the king, says the Lord of hosts and my name is to be feared amongst the nations. That is just verse 14 of Malachi, chapter 1.

Speaker 1:

Look at verse 3, chapter 3 of the same book. In Malachi, chapter 3, verse 8 and 9. This is familiar with many, many us all. Right, he says will a man rob god? Yet you have robbed me. But you say in what ways have we robbed you? In tithes and offering, you are cast with a curse for you have robbed me even this whole nation.

Speaker 1:

God says you are cursed with a curse. All this because you are robbing me with your tithe and with your offerings. Now I don't want to speak about offerings, but look at your offerings. What do we give God? We're not bound by in the law of tithes. That's in the law, but I thought before the law. We should even give beyond, beyond our tithes. All right, because we are living on a better covenant, but when, when you, you are giving is from your heart, when you are giving is is to honor. If you say, when I'm going to give, I want to honor, if you say, when I'm going to give, I want to honor God with my giving, well, you be careful how you give. You will be careful how you give, because God looks at that. Are you giving him what you don't need, the leftovers we eat the best, and then whatever is left, whatever could even go to the trash, that's what we give. God says you are cursed with a curse. So we be careful when the offering bag comes, please give God as though you are honoring God.

Speaker 1:

Let's go to number four, number four what can bring a curse is dishonoring parents, dishonoring your parents. All right. Now we know Ephesians, chapter 6, verse 2,. It says Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment, with the promise that it may be well with you and that you may live long on earth. God himself says honor your father and your mother. Now, if you are not honoring your parents, if you don't have respect for your own parents. I don't care who they are, how they are, honor them, just honor them. They are your parents. God looks at that. All right, they are your parents. God looks at that.

Speaker 1:

If you have a problem with your parents, go make amends, because it will not be well. I don't care who prays for you, which apostle, which prophet, which man of God, or your own prayer. You can fast and become a thin like a stick. But if you don't honor your father, you don't honor your mother, whether they are physical, biological or spiritual. You are bringing yourself under trouble. It do not go well, it's just that way. It won't go well with you. You live a life as though you were cursed. Things just don't seem to work. They seem to work and then they break down. Why? Because of dishonor of your father or your mother, all of them at the same time. So let's look at that. Let's be careful. I'm just mentioning this because if I go to too much depth, we will not have time.

Speaker 1:

Okay, the next one. Number five neglecting the poor. What? Yes, be careful how you deal with the poor. If you go and read the book of Proverbs, it's full of a couple of things of how we deal with the poor, how we deal with those who are weak in the society, and God looks at that. But the Bible says that he is the maker of you who has and the one who has. But let me read just one verse in Proverbs 28, verse 27. Proverbs 28 and verse 27. It says he who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses. Did you hear that he who hides his eyes will have you? Give to the poor, you will not lack. You hide your eyes, you dishonor, you disrespect them or you despise them. Oh, the Bible says you will have many curses. So we got to be careful when we are dealing with those who are less privileged in the society. God has given you something. Please watch out. Please help those. Help where you can.

Speaker 1:

All right, we have a trouble, as I was preparing this and meditating on this. We have problems of people taking even what is for those whom they have employed. You take their wages. You deny their wages. Maybe you have a house help. Maybe you have somebody who is working on your farm. Maybe you have somebody who have employed somehow in one way or the other. If you take what, I don't want to go into the book of Proverbs because there's a lot there. There's a lot that the Bible has talked about, that you are taking what belongs to those who are weak, those who cannot do anything to you. You bring yourself under bad curse, all right. So be careful. Be careful with your employee, be careful with those who are weak, be careful with those who are needy. Who is actually needy? Those who are needy in the society? We go to number six.

Speaker 1:

Okay, pronouncement what can bring a curse in our life? Pronouncement from men or women of god. Pronouncement be careful, men of god. There are some who are so quick to release curses. Now we can. We can have many examples in the bible. You know elisha custom and they were mocking, mocking elisha baldhead and he pronounced a curse over them and they went. They were eaten by lions. You can go and look. That is saying the Bible.

Speaker 1:

Remember Joshua? All right, joshua, when he conquered Jericho, the Bible says he spoke a curse. You know he spoke a curse. He said curse, be any man who will rebuild this city of Jericho. There can't be any man who will rebuild this city of Jericho. And he said with a fast bone he will rebuild at the expense of his own fast bone. And it happened. You can go and say it happened 500 years back. This was spoken 500 years ago. And then we are told, in the days of Ahab, a man rebuilt the city and he had to do it at the expense of his own children.

Speaker 1:

All right, so our curses for men of God be very careful. Those need to be dealt with. All right, so don't live under any curse. All right, let me go to the seventh one. So our time is running here. The seventh one is a hatred towards the jews. Hatred towards the jews, oh my goodness, this is growing by day. Anti-semitism, people, people just hate the jews. They don't know what the bible says gen Genesis, chapter 12, verse 3, god told Abraham, the father of the Jewish nation, the father Genesis 12, verse 3, we know it I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you, and in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed. That word still stands. If you are one of those who hate the Jews or you despise the Jews, well, you are bringing yourself under a curse from God. All right, so there are many. I can't finish all the things that can bring a curse.

Speaker 1:

We have only looked at one site where curses can come from, but curses can come from different areas. But I'll leave it at that because I need to go to about signs of a curse. What are the signs of a curse? Okay, signs of a curse Again. Go and read Deuteronomy, chapter 28, from verse 15. You will see a lot of manifestations of a curse. Study them yourself, come up with your own conclusion what it says. I'll just give a few here and uh, you, you, you read and study so you can see some of the signs. So I'll just mention some general. Again, when you see this, I'll say this and I was listening to Derek Prince and he said it doesn't mean if you have one of these you definitely are under a curse, but it gives an opportunity for you to evaluate yourself. Think about it. Could this be a curse? Is there something that is coming from the past and is following me? Okay, so the fact that there is this sign doesn't mean you are under a curse, but it could point. Maybe there is a curse, all right, so let me go through this very quickly. All right is a curse? All right, so let me go through this very quickly, all right.

Speaker 1:

Number one constant misfortune, bad breaks and repeated losses. I've put them together. You see how God says you will try to go forward, you're going backwards. But I'm just saying constant misfortune. Now we all fall from. Sometimes we'll get bad breaks, but if these are constant, these are repeated, is is the story of your life. You are always having misfortunes, you're always having bad breaks. You're about to to get a contract and suddenly somebody else comes and takes it and you, you miss it. You're just getting bad breaks. Or you, you start a business, you have losses, losses, the business goes and all of a sudden it's gone. You start it looks like there could be a force, there could be a force behind and the enemy is using a curse. Remember what I spoke when I started teaching about demons. Demons are the primary agents for evil that Satan uses. All right, they are the primary agents of the kingdom of darkness. All right.

Speaker 1:

The second one so, constant misfortune, bad breaks, repeated losses. The second one generational diseases. Generational diseases there is a particular disease that is running through the family. All right, sicknesses that some people have, sicknesses which doctors cannot even put a finger on. You are examined, you have all the tests done on you and the doctors cannot see what is going on, but you yourself, you know you are sick. You are sick and this seems to run in the family. Well, that could be an indication. That could be an indication that there is a curse, particularly a disease that is running through the bloodline. Well, that needs to be broken, all that needs to be broken. That needs to be broken, all right.

Speaker 1:

Third one, number three barrenness in life. Barrenness in life, okay, it's not all. Barrenness is is as a result of a curse. But if you, if you, if you go and read in Deuteronomy, chapter 15, chapter 28, where we, wherever you read it, you will see, okay, barrenness I'm talking about in life, your business is just barren, you start, it doesn't go forward. Your own life is barren, everything is barrenness is a very big sign. It's a very big sign of there could be a curse in operation and that one has to be broken. You don't cast out curses, you cast out the demons. First of all, you remove the legal rights of the demon. That generational curse has to be broken. I'll talk about how we deal with the curses in a moment.

Speaker 1:

Number four constant defeats and failures. Very similar to number one constant defeats. Remember where the bible is saying you shall blessings, you shall be the head and not the tail, all right, but yeah, you, you, you're going forward. Okay, you will be on top but not beneath. But when you are under curse, you are always being defeated. You try to come up, you go down, you go under failures, you are failing. You know, there in the Bible God says that you go and plant in a field and you plant much. You harvest almost nothing. You know it's like there is really no progress. You invest in something. Every investment you do just fails. Nothing seems to work. Big sign it could be a curse that is operating there.

Speaker 1:

Number five mental illness and confusion. Again there, god says I will strike you with confusion. Not all mental illnesses are as a result of a curse or demonic power, but mental illness is one of the big areas the enemy operates in and sometimes medications may not help. You need to be delivered, you need the curse to be broken. Confusion, confusion, because I will strike you with confusion. Why? Because of disobeying the voice of the Lord, cursing God, blaspheming God and all these things Right.

Speaker 1:

Number six Family breakups. Family breakup and confusion in the family. You have to understand family is a big bond, one of the biggest bonds in life, and when you see there are people and I was spraying with some people and saying how that everyone in the family and they can trace back behind whenever they get married that marriage never lasts, there's always a breakup. Or you come into the family and you find it's just confusion. People just don't want to. You have families which don't talk to each other.

Speaker 1:

Wow, that could be an indication. There is a spiritual power, there is a curse that is not even you it could be from four generations behind and that is coming in and affecting your family. It's affecting you. It's affecting your family. That needs to be dealt with. Hallelujah, all right. Family, that needs to be dealt with. Hallelujah, all right.

Speaker 1:

Uh, a family problem, uh, sicknesses and diseases. The thing that can come is like suicide, suicide in the confusion, mental illness I talked about mental illness there. You bring in uh, uh, suicides there. They're jumping in there. That's, that's just part of some curses that are operating there. Be careful, especially if there's a suicide line. That actually should come under number five, where this mental illness.

Speaker 1:

Okay, but we're talking about family, family breakups, right, let me go to number seven, all right. Number seven constant or severe lack of basic necessities. Constant, severe lack, it's always there. Now, we all go through periods of lack, all right, periods of lack, testing of our faith, but if this is constant, this is the story of your life that you lack basic necessity, you are living in poverty. That you lack basic necessity, you are living in poverty.

Speaker 1:

Poverty is one big sign of a curse. That could be a people group, could be a family group. There are families that are just stricken in poverty. They are always living under. They don't even have basic things. That's a curse that needs to be broken. Somebody needs to come and break that curse. Well, we're running out of time here.

Speaker 1:

So what are the remedies? What are the remedies for breaking these curses? Because we can talk. There are so many, by the way. There are so many, we cannot finish. What are the remedies for breaking? How do I deal? Maybe you're saying how do I deal with a curse? I think I could be having a curse, but what do I do to come out of that? I want to break myself out of a curse.

Speaker 1:

Well, I'll just mention three and just give some example here. There has to be, because it's a sin, it's an abomination, something that was done in the past. There has to be confession, all right, confessing that sin as if it is yours and I will show you here in a little bit. And then there has to be repentance. Repentance, confession, is agreeing with god that, uh, I have seen. Oh, there was a sin. That's confession, uh, saying the same thing as god, calling it as it is it was sin, whether you know it or not. Then repentance is turning away from that sin. And then then there has to be breaking of that curse. That can be broken by prayer, hallelujah. But let me give an example. Let's go to Daniel. You can go read there, but I'll read for you Daniel, chapter 9.

Speaker 1:

Daniel was in Babylon, a man of God, a man who feared God, but because of the sins of the forefathers, he found himself in captivity. And he says in chapter 9 that he read by the books. Let me read from verse 1 so you can see what Daniel did to break that curse, in order that they curse upon his own people, because God had spoken and said if you start worshiping idol, if you go to idolatry, as we have mentioned, this one of the big ways that brings a curse, and I will talk about that in some sessions. Behind it says in Daniel, chapter one, verse nine. It says in the first year of Darius, the son of Ahasuerus, of the lineage of men who was made king over the reigns of Chaldeans, in the first year of Israel, I, daniel, understood by the books the number of years specified by the word of God through Jeremiah, the prophet, that he would accomplish 70 years in desolations of Jerusalem. So Daniel discovers the book of Jeremiah.

Speaker 1:

God has spoken that there will be 70 years in captivity, verse 3,. Then I set my face towards the Lord, god, to make requests by prayer and supplication with fasting sackcloth and ashes. Supplication with fasting, sackcloth and ashes. Verse 4,. And I prayed to the Lord, my God, and made confession and said Lord, oh Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant and mercy with those who love him, those who keep his commandment.

Speaker 1:

Verse 5,. We have sinned and committed iniquity. We have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from your precepts and your judgments. Let me stop there. In verse 5 you see daniel is confessing and he says we. He includes himself, he says we, I am part of it. Now, daniel was a man who was one of the few people in the Bible, who you cannot point a finger. He was a blameless man. He was a righteous man, he feared God. But he's taking upon the sins of his forefathers. He says our fathers sinned and we bear their iniquity. We are here in captivity because of the sins of our forefathers and say we have sinned. We, me and my people. We have sinned. We have failed. So he's confessing. He says I'm confessing. He's fasted. He puts a sign of mourning for what was done in the past, not by him, but he includes himself.

Speaker 1:

And look at, let me go to verse 10. I'll just jump over to verse 10. He says we again he says plural we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord, our God. What was our reason number one for bringing a curse? Disobedience to the voice of the Lord. Here he says verse 10, verse 11, his servants, the prophets. Verse 11 yes, all israel has transgressed your law and has departed so as not to obey your voice. Therefore, the curse and the oath written in the lord of moses, the servant of of God, have been poured out on us because we have sinned against him. Look at that Very clear. He says the curse has come because of disobedience.

Speaker 1:

Let me jump to verse 16. See how he's now praying and asking God for forgiveness. You have to do that. You have to pray, you have to ask for forgiveness. You have to do that, you have to pray, you have to ask for forgiveness.

Speaker 1:

Verse 16,. O Lord, according to all your righteousness, I pray. Let your anger and your fury be turned away from your city, jerusalem, your holy mountain. Because of our sins and for the iniquity of our fathers, jerusalem and your people are a reproach to all those around us. Verse 17. Now, therefore, our God, hear the prayer of your servant and his supplication and, for the Lord's sake, cause your face to shine on your sanctuary, which is desolate. Oh, my God, incline your ear and hear, open your eyes and see our desolation and the city which is called by your name, for we do not present our supplication before you because we are of our righteous deed, but because of your great mercies. Oh Lord, hear. Oh Lord, forgive. Oh Lord, listen and act. Do not delay, for your own sake, my God, for your city and your people are called by your own name. What a powerful prayer.

Speaker 1:

What a man of God who takes upon the sins of the past, the sins of the generations that have gone by. It is now 70 years have gone by, but here is his praying. He is praying and asking God, forgive Lord, have mercy According to the multitudes of your mercy. Forgive Lord. Forgive our sins and he takes them upon himself. See, the sins that were committed by the forefathers is as though he was also in. And that's the way God works.

Speaker 1:

If you go and read Hebrews, chapter 7, verse 9, I think it's Hebrews 7, verse 9. You see there the Bible talks about Levi, levi having given tithe inside Abraham. Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek, alright. And it says Levi gave also a tithe because he was in the loins of Abraham, he was inside there. So it is Abraham, four generations earlier, who gave a tithe. But there the Bible says it is actually Levi himself who gave that tithe inside Abraham. So whatever Abraham did, levi did four generations below, several hundreds of years down the line.

Speaker 1:

So I always say the sins of the past, they come to haunt us, they come to follow after us and we have to do something, we have to confess, we have to repent and then we have to break them. Hallelujah, there is hope. Remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. We read together in Galatians, chapter 3, galatians, chapter 3, verse 14, that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. 14, that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law having become a curse for us. Where it is written curse is everyone who hangs on a tree. That the blessings of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. So Jesus has already paid the price for our curses. There was an exchange that happened on the cross, but the blessings are entered by faith, by appropriating.

Speaker 1:

You cannot be forgiven if you haven't confessed Now. The sins are there, the consequences are there, but we have to delink ourselves, we have to cut ourselves. Our sins are forgiven, we go into heaven, we are filled with the Holy Spirit, all right. But there is a shadow that the enemy is using getting a legal right. We want to stand against that. We want to stand against that, all right. So I want to help.

Speaker 1:

Maybe you're saying, oh, I need prayer. Okay, this is what. So I want to help. Maybe you're saying, oh, I need prayer. Okay, this is what we're going to do. I will give you a moment. All right, you confess, so you say you pray like Daniel we have just read the prayer of Daniel Say Father, I confess the sins of my forefathers, the sins of my ancestors. Whatever was done as abomination, lord, I confess. So I pause there. You can pause the teaching and then do that. You have to do it with your own mouth. I'm not going to do that for you. You have to confess. So I'm giving going to do that for you. You have to confess. So I'm giving you time. If you're listening to this teaching, you pause there, take a moment and confess, like Daniel. You can go read Daniel, chapter 9. See how he prayed, how he confessed.

Speaker 1:

Confess the sins, be sincere, ask God forgive me for the sins they committed. It is me, lord. I was inside my forefathers. I was inside my forefathers. I was inside my ancestors, lord, whatever was an abomination, whatever was evil, whatever they involved themselves in occult practices, witchcraft, whatever it is, I took time to do that for myself. I know I did that in the past, but I also, when I was reading this, oh, I went back again. I went back again and prayed and asked God from the bottom of my heart whatever my ancestors did, oh God, forgive me, oh Lord, I was inside them. Lord, I repent, I confess those sins. I don't want anything to follow me from what was done in the past, right? So do that. Pause that. After that, repent, repent, ask God if I was there, I will not Ask God to bring in the blood of Jesus Christ Confess that, confess that, do that part, fast and then, after you have done that, you have confessed, you have repented, you have asked God to have mercy over you, then come and receive this prayer.

Speaker 1:

So I'm going to pray right now to break that curse, because a curse has to be broken. It's not something that we can cast out, it has to be broken. So I want to do that right now. I want to do that right now. Pray for you, believe God, agree with me in prayer. I want to do that right now. Pray for you, believe God, agree with me in prayer. If you haven't done that, you will come back again on this teaching and take this prayer and agree with me and say I'm agreeing with that prayer Because I am praying. I'm just taking my position as the one who is ministering to you.

Speaker 1:

All right, so let me pray, father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I to you. All right, so let me pray, father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your great mercies and love. Thank you for Jesus Christ, your son, who became a curse for us by hanging on the cross. Father, I ask that you forgive all the sins and all the abominations committed by the ancestors, by the ancestors, by this person and by the ancestors. Lord, lord, let mercies be committed. Forgive, lord. Forgive, lord, according to the multitude of your mercies. Cover with the blood of Jesus Christ all those sins, lord, all those abominations. Let them be covered, father, I command that they receive your forgiveness. Receive that now, receive the forgiveness. Receive the forgiveness of God and by the power of your mercies, lord, I remove.

Speaker 1:

I remove my listener from all the consequences of the sins and abominations that were committed by ancestors. I remove them now. I remove my listener. I remove the one that is agreeing with me in prayer. I break that right now.

Speaker 1:

In the name of Jesus Christ, father, I stand in the name of your son, jesus Christ. I break generational curses. I break that curse that has been following this person, this listener of mine, I remove. I remove him or her from that curse. In the name of Jesus Christ, lord, by the authority you have given me, I remove every legal right that demons have been using to oppress Every legal right and demons. The blood of Jesus Christ, the son of God, is against you. The blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is against you. The blood of Jesus Christ is against you, demons against you, evil spirit against you. I wrap that curse, I remove the power of every curse, every legal right the enemy has had over us. Right now it's dismantled. Right now it's broken. Right now it's finished. In the name of the lord, every demon that has been holding on to that right now. Come out now. Come out, out out in the name of jesus. No more oppression, no more oppression, no more oppression, no more oppression.

Speaker 1:

In the name of Jesus Christ, lord, I claim the inheritance of Abraham. Lord, you said in your word and Jesus became a curse, a curse for us that we may inherit the blessings of Abraham. I release the blessing of Abraham over your child, over your child, right now, in the name of Jesus. Receive the blessings of Abraham Now over your child, over your child, right now, in the name of Jesus. Receive the blessings of Abraham Now. Claim your inheritance. Say you is in Christ. He is a new creation. You are a new creation, lord. I delink them, I delink her, I delink him from everything that is of the past. He is a new creation. New creation, lord. New creation, new mercies, new blessings in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord, thank you Jesus, all right. Receive that in your spirit and walk and rejoice in the freedom Jesus has purchased for us. Walk in that freedom. You are a child, you are brand new. That cloud is removed and walk in the freedom of Jesus Christ, which he purchased with his own blood. He said we have been redeemed. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. So you are redeemed. You are purchased. It's been paid for. Walk in that freedom and in that joy, hallelujah. Well, our time is up.
