What's up everyone, and thank you for joining me in this telecast healing and deliverance tour. It's a podcast series where I share with you divine truth that will bring healing and deliverance to those who are oppressed by demons. I am your host, dr Gilbert Mocir, bishop of Faith Celebration Ministries International in Kenya and pastor of Faith Life Victory Church in Houston, texas. So let's get started Now. We Now we are on this subject how demons enter people. We are trying to uncover some of the roots of stuff that demons cannot enter at will or whenever they want to. They look for legal rights to gain access and be able to bring oppression, oppression, and so if we can know these legal rights and close them, then we end up closing the door to the enemy. The Bible says do not give the enemy a foothold. That means if you don't give him somewhere to step, then he has no room. All right, if you know how to deal with him, then you are on offensive, you are on the winning side. So we have already covered uh, two others and I will not go back to them today. I want to share with you uh, the third, the third route that gives demons legal right to enter in, or the third door that demons use, and this is spiritual filthiness or spiritual pollution. All right, so in this time we will define what spiritual filthiness is, or defilement, what that is, and then we will look at what brings defilement and we cleanse ourselves in order to lock these doors from demons coming in through that route.
Speaker 1:We are doing our best to fight ignorance. Remember what Paul said in 2 Corinthians, 1 and verse 21. 1 and verse 21,. For we are not ignorant of Satan's devices, lest he take advantage of us. So how do we fight ignorance? It's by increasing our knowledge. There are people who are afraid, they're afraid of learning about demons. They say maybe they will become possessed because now they have like learning about demons brings in or opens the door for demonic oppression. No, it is lack of knowledge that will destroy you, that will destroy you. But when you have knowledge to have knowledge is to be for want when you have knowledge, then you are armed, then you are able to defend yourself. Not only you are able to defend, you are able to attack, to be on the offensive. You know, I remember we covered this and Peter said be sober, be vigilant, because your enemy walks like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. So when you have knowledge, then you are sober, you are able to take action and stand against the schemes and strategies of the enemy, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:So let's go ahead and try to understand. Then, what is this defilement? What is defilement from spiritual defilement? What do we mean by this? And let's go to the book of Corinthians, 2 Corinthians.
Speaker 1:I want to read from the word of God, 2 Corinthians, in chapter number 7. I'm interested in chapter 7, verse 1, 2 Corinthians 7, verse 1. But then for us to understand I'll have to draw back. Let me read verse 1 first of all. 2 Corinthians 7, verse 1. Therefore, having these promises beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. This is Apostle Paul speaking to the church in Corinth and speaking to us, and he says therefore, having these promises beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Now, paul is talking about the promises of God. Now, paul is talking about the promises of God. So when he says, therefore, then we have to draw back. What is this therefore all about? What are these promises that Paul say? We have promises from God, which now gives us a reason to cleanse ourselves from filthiness. And these promises, we can see them. It starts all the way from verse 14. But you can read chapter 6 from verse 14, where it says don't be unequally yoked, and blah, blah, blah. But I'll read from verse 16 here.
Speaker 1:Second corinthians 6, verse 16. He says and what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, as God has said, I will dwell in them and walk among them, I will be their God and they shall be my people. Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean. Notice that word. He says do not touch what is unclean and I will receive you, I'll be a father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
Speaker 1:Wonderful promises from God, our Father. He says these promises, god promises to dwell, to stay, to live with us and walk amongst us. He says I will dwell in them and walk among them and I will be their god and they will be my people. So god has conditions. God has conditions to, to, to, to, to walk with us, of course. Uh, he, he lives with and he, he teaches us, he wants to us to to grow from one degree of glory, closeness to him. And he says verse 17,. Therefore, because of this that I will dwell, I want to live. You remember what he said in verse 16 up there, for you are the temple of the living God, you are the temple, I am the temple. God wants to dwell with me, to dwell with you. You have God, not there in heaven, but God in you, god with you, god all over you. That's the promise. And he says then come out from amongst them and be separate, says the Lord, don't touch what is unclean and I will receive you, I will be a father to you and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty, after those wonderful promises, that's when us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. So you see, here the work of cleansing is us. Here the work of cleansing is us, it is you and I.
Speaker 1:He's talking about a spirit filthy of the flesh and also of the spirit. The inner man, he can be filthy. Let's cleanse ourselves from all filthiness. So filthiness is pollution, being polluted. So you can be polluted by the enemy by some things that we are going to mention here. So what is spiritual pollution? It is being dirty in the spirit. You have been polluted. You know what it means to pollute. You know you can pollute the air. You can defile. So all right.
Speaker 1:So let's go straight now and look at what then brings defilement. How do we get defiled? I'm sure you're, you're, you're, you're, you want to know that. How do we get different? Well, there are at least two, two ways. There are two ways. There are more, of course, where we can't share all of them. I'll just just stick myself to two of them.
Speaker 1:I'll mention and then deal with one for today. We get defilement number one by possessing objects with demonic connections. I go slowly there so that we can understand we get pollution or we get defiled by having in our possession objects with a demonic connection. It's one of the ways that really brings pollution. And the second one is practicing willful sins, sinning willfully, where you know this is sinful and yet you continue sinning. Now that is something that brings really, really trouble in the spirit spiritual pollution. Now, we will not deal with the second one today. This will come later in our teaching as we look at that as a way that opens doors or gives ground or legal grounds to demons to come in and bring oppression.
Speaker 1:Today, we want to cover the first one and look at some of these things, objects that we possess and that can bring in a pollution or defilement, and where Paul says let us cleanse ourselves, let us cleanse ourselves. That's the work for you and I to do it, okay. So, as we deal with this, then let's mention so what are these things that bring demonic pollution, or things that are connected. What are these things we're talking about that have connections with demons? Now, there are many Christian homes, many Christian homes, and knowingly carry objects in their homes with a strong demonic connections.
Speaker 1:Now, notice this, I've said this we have them in our homes unknowingly that these objects have such strong connections with the demons. They actually attract demons to come in and bring oppression in our lives. Now, what are these objects? These are objects that are objects or symbols of idolatry or witchcraft or sorceries or anything in that line of magic. If you have objects like this, they could be symbols, they could be sculptures.
Speaker 1:I'll mention some of these witchcraft, these things that have demonic connections. They are highways, they attract demons to come in, and some of them. We have them, to be honest, we have them. We call them decorative arts. They are pieces of arts. Okay, they are pieces of arts and we call them home decor, unknowingly. You know, we look at them and they look good, they look beautiful, but the enemy capitalizes on our ignorance. We are so ignorant we do it unknowingly.
Speaker 1:Now, notice this. I have to say this. I have a warning in my sphere. I'm not saying all decorations are evil. I have tons of decors that I have put in my home. But I'm talking about symbols, symbols that have demonic connection, and some of us don't even know that some of these things we have have demonic. We carry them, we have them. Some of them are just photos or wall hangings we have put in there, but they are strong, strong demonic pollution in our homestead. Now you may be saying, hey, dr Mochia, these are just decors, these are just things that I bought to decorate my home. Well, if they were being there, from wherever they are, wherever you got them, or if, wherever the origin of them let me use that If the origin of them was for idol worship or from witchcraft source, or whatever it is, those are like saint markings, saint markings that attract the devil. Now, let's take some warning. Let me use this, paul. Okay, let's go. Some warning, let me use this. Uh, uh, paul, okay, let's go, uh.
Speaker 1:First corinthians, chapter 10. You know, paul was talking to the church in corinth and, and, and they were involved in pagan worship. And then they came to christ. But they, they were still struggling with some of these symbols about food that has been sacrificed to idols. They, they have idols in their homes which they used to worship. But now they have become believers, what do they do? And so they wrote questions to Apostle Paul to try and get answers to this man of God.
Speaker 1:1 Corinthians 10, verse 19 to 20. Paul says this Things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. That is as clear as day. Paul says demons, idols, are nothing. I mean, they're sculptures. They're just sculptures, sculptures or statues that people have made, and they go bow down to them. They cannot speak, they cannot help, they cannot do anything. But he says this the sacrifices they do, even though they're bringing them to statues, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. And he says I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. Remember where we read, where he's asking what fellowship has the temple of God? Because we are the temple of God. We are in the world, but we should be different, we should be separate. We are not going to run away from people of the world. We need to affect them by our own lives. But he says I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. So if you are carrying an object, if you have an object that, where it came from the people who created it, the people who sculptured it, they were being used for sacrificing to demons, then you are having fellowship with the demons. And Paul says I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.
Speaker 1:Beloved. These are the things that the enemy uses. I call them saint marcus. Remember the way animals, animals go and they mark their territories, like a dog, will, will, will, will pass the urine, or a lion, so that they can remember this is their territory.
Speaker 1:The same way, some of these symbols, some of these stuffs that we have, demons use them. You know, demons. A statue is nothing, but because what the sacrifices are being done there? They are being consumed by demons. It's a sacrifice to the demon spirits. They enjoy that worship. So demons come and attach themselves to these symbols. They are leadings, so devils love this. So when you have them in your home, it's like you are marking your home and the demons can use that and say we have legal rights, we are recognized here, we are worshipped here. We have our own symbol, we have our own statue, we have our own object Right, and that becomes an open door for demonic oppression. All right, so what are some of these examples so that you can take a stock, you can check yourselves. Number one let me mention a couple here.
Speaker 1:Number one examples of these objects is idols. Any form of idol you have, you know those. Whatever it is, if it is an idol, if it was made like an idol or reminds you as an idol, then that is a spiritual pollution within your living environment. For example, tikis T-I-K-I-S. You say what is that? Maybe you don't know it. I won't blame you too. I'm also learning through my studies.
Speaker 1:Tikis are Polynesian statues in human form. These are. They are statues that have been sculptured really nice statues Some of them have. They have human form or human bodies or human heads. Some of them are very sharp, contorted and nasty looking. But there are very many forms, but they come from Polynesia. Polynesia is these are islands in the Pacific, somewhere in the Pacific, new Zealand, or somewhere else, and they have these statues. They are used in their cultures for worship and there are lots of them all over here in the US, in Africa.
Speaker 1:I've seen a couple of them, you know, and they look nice. Some of them they look like decorations, right, and we have them in our homes. They are statues. Some of them are big. They could be made of wood, they could be made of stone, right, but they are statues and we carry them and we bring them in our home. If you have a statue like that, that is a spiritual pollution. It will attract demons your way.
Speaker 1:Another one is totems. Totems T-O-T-E-M-S. I'm spelling them because my pronunciation may be different. Totems right, you can go Google that so you will be able to see what is what is because. What is that? All right, if you're asking what is that, okay, go look for it in the YouTube.
Speaker 1:What are these totems? But they're really. They are sacred objects that serves as emblems of a group of people, such as family, clan lineage or tribes. Okay, this is just from Wikipedia, but you can go search yourself on Google You'll get them, or Siri, whatever. Okay, sacred objects, sacred of things that are revered and are passed, or emblems that are revered and passed through groups of people or some clans or family.
Speaker 1:Be very careful. If you have something that has been passed on from past generation and you are told this is very, very important, guard it. We have been given this from our forefathers, from generation to generation. We pass it on and don't joke with it. Be careful with it. Take care of it. Oh oh, oh, oh oh. That is something that brings demonic oppression from the forefathers. It's a generational thing, passing on and giving demons right to come and bring oppression. Beloved. There are people who are oppressed through things that they received down the line through their grand, grand grandparents. Those are dangerous. All right Number and other things in this idol is statues of worship.
Speaker 1:Statues of worship All right, tiki's totems, statues of worship such as Buddha. Buddha, if you have the statue of Buddha, some of us is not a statue. People have wall hangings, photos, decorations. They are hanged in our walls, hanged in our walls and nicely decorated. Those forms of worship, because these are gods of Buddha. They have demonic connection and they become open doors for demons. It's not only Buddha. We're talking of statues of Greek gods or Roman gods or African gods.
Speaker 1:If you have these objects, you need to get rid of them. Those are things that will attack demons and open a doorway into life. You're getting polluted, you're getting defiled. That's defilement of the spirit. The spirit of God is in, but the body and your spirit is getting defiled. All right, I'm looking at examples. So example number one is idols. So I've talked of totems, tikis or statues of worship and all that. Whatever it is, whatever people worship or revere, be careful, get rid of it.
Speaker 1:All right, number two example number two is occultic objects. Occultic objects. I already talked about this in the past, so I'll just mention them really quickly. Charms and fetishes If you went to a witch doctor or you were treated and you're given a charm or you're carrying some fetishes on your body, on your waist, amulets or talismans, you know some things that are meant to bring good luck, all those are occultic objects. If you carry them, if you have them, those are dangerous things. The other things are demonic rings or bracelet. Let me mention something about now that I'm on demonic rings.
Speaker 1:One time I talked about my stepmother. She's still alive, a very old woman but born again spirit-filled. But before she came to know Christ, she was a witch doctor. She was a witch doctor and the devil was using her with the cures demonic cures. Now she had been given those powers through a ritual and she had a ring that she was wearing and earrings that were specifically given after a ritual. All right, so I'm not saying all rings are bad. I'm not saying all earrings are bad, but I'm talking about demonic rings or bracelets or earrings. These are things that you receive them after a spiritual ritual. There was a ceremony that went through or they were given through a ceremony. Those are dangerous.
Speaker 1:So when she was getting saved, the holy jesus was appeared to her. Jesus was talking to her and she saw somebody standing here and she started calling on jesus, jesus, and she had a voice. This is my own mother, stepmother, giving this testimony. I've recorded that testimony. She said she lifted up her hands. She didn't know anything. She just calling on Jesus, save me, save me, save me.
Speaker 1:And Jesus spoke to her and said you cannot touch me because your hands are dirty. And said you cannot touch me because your hands are dirty. Jesus spoke to her in her language. She could understand, thank God, god knows all languages.
Speaker 1:And when she was told your hands are dirty, she looked at her hands and she was giving me this. She looked and the ring that she was wearing had swollen. She saw the ring, so swollen she couldn't miss it. Oh, and then she remembered this ring I was given during the time I was receiving wearing had stolen. She saw the ring so stolen she couldn't miss it. Oh, and then she remembered this ring I was given during the time I was receiving the powers to do witchcraft and all forms of so she removed that and threw it away. And then she lifted up her hands and said oh Jesus, help me, help me, help me, help me, as she's crying for Jesus to save her. Jesus spoke to her again and say you cannot hear me because your ears are blocked. She put her hands on her ears and the rings that she had been given were swollen. She felt that like they had swollen so big and she could not hold these other rings I was given. She remembered, and then she just grabbed them and, without even removing, slowly just ripped them out. And this ripped them out and threw them away and threw them away, and then she lifted up her hands and started crying again Jesus, save me, save me, help me. And then she told me there was a hand that was. She saw a hand coming in with a hammer and that hit her just hard. And all of a sudden there was a box that was dropped. I saw a box that was dropped in a copper box and then she was told that's where Satan had locked your heart. But now you are free. And suddenly she heard Jesus washing her. And then she did the next step she went and burnt all witchcraft, all fetishes and all that.
Speaker 1:What am I saying? These are things that are strong demonic connection. They are defilement. She was told you can't hear because of what you are carrying. You can't touch me because of what you have in your hands. See that? Okay, what other things that are occultic objects? Crystal balls, crystal balls, crystal balls, astrological objects. If you have objects of astrology, those are defilement Ouija boards, tarot cards I mentioned this in the parcel. Don't belabor that. Number three, let's go to the third way that we can get defiled. The third way is objects of evil, hatred and satanism. If you have objects not just of occult, but objects of evil or hatred or satanism, right, these are dangerous things.
Speaker 1:You need to get rid of them. What are the examples? You know occult games, games, yes, video games we play. They are occult games, like Dungeons and Dragons. You guys know them, those of you who play games Dungeons and Dragons. You guys know them, those of you who play games Dungeons and dragons, dragons.
Speaker 1:It's not the only occult games. There are so many video games. Some of them are very satanic. Some of them have witchcraft in them. These are materials you have to get rid of when you get saved, when you release yourself to God. But if you haven't released yourself to God, you need to repent that, ask God to forgive you, and then do what I will share in a little bit. Maybe you're already saved, maybe you're already a believer, but you have these video games. Oh, it's just a game I'm playing. No, it's not just a game. It's not just a game.
Speaker 1:The ones who created them, they know what they are doing. They are video games that teach witchcraft. They are stuff that people are having in their homes. These are opening doors for demons to come in. The demons have a right. You have their stuff, other materials of evil and related pornographic materials, books, pornographic magazines, cds, videos. These are dangerous. If you have them, you need to take care of them. We'll talk about that in a little bit. How to cleanse ourselves from this, okay. Okay. Other objects of evil or hatred or certainty. I love this.
Speaker 1:I read this when I was doing my studies by a book by a man Brother, robert Robert D. By a book by a man Brother, robert Robert D Heidler. Robert D Heidler. He wrote a wonderful book about setting yourselves free. One of the things he mentions there that can attack demons is love letters from ungodly or unholy relationship. Before we come to have a good relationship, we are involved in some love affairs, in some ungodly things, and we still keep some of the letters we have. You still keep them.
Speaker 1:You have things that you're keeping and these were satanic. Go get rid of them. Don't keep them. Those are defilements. They defile, they make your spirit unclean, they make your flesh unclean. That's what Paul says. Let us cleanse ourselves from everything that defiles the flesh and the spirit and then we perfect, holiness, out of the fear of god.
Speaker 1:What are the things that are objects of evil and hatred? Satanic books, satanic books of witchcraft. New age you have. We have books that are written just satanic, satanic novels. They're just satanic novels, witchcraft books, new Age books. Get rid of them, all those Free masonry. I mentioned this. You have to get rid of them, All right. All right, let's quickly mention, then, how to cleanse ourselves from these objects that bring defeat. How do we, how do I? Maybe you're asking what am I going to do? Well, it's very, very easy.
Speaker 1:Let's go to a very good example of our brothers in Ephesians. If you go to Acts, chapter 19,. You'll go that later. Acts, chapter 19, paul talks about the Ephesians. They had the gospel and Paul was used by the Lord to break the powers of witchcraft there, and they saw the power of God being manifested, demons coming out and this is what it says in Acts 19, verse 18 and many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burnt them in the sight of all, and they counted up the value of them, and it totaled 50,000 pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed. Wonderful work of God. Paul preached, people believed and when they believed, they came. They began to confess some of the things they were doing, their evil practices.
Speaker 1:Ephesians was a capital city where the goddess Diana lived, the temple, the greatest temple of Diana. The goddess was living, and so there was a lot of idol worship. There's a lot of immorality, there was all kinds of evil in in in that city. And so the power of God came. People believed as they saw the demonstration of the, the, the spirit of God, through apostle Paul, and they brought all day. They brought their books, they brought their paraphernalias, they brought their magic books and everything they use to practice witchcraft.
Speaker 1:That's what we need to do Ban them. So what is the process? What is the process that we need to do? We have to search our homes, all right, search our homes, all right. Search your place, search your dwelling place for objects that are an abomination to the Lord. Bring them out. If this looks, doesn't look right, don't spare it. Don't say, oh, it's just a decoration. Well, if it was used for worshiping demons, deal with it as such. All right, bring them, destroy them.
Speaker 1:The issue is Bring them, destroy them. The issue is destroy them, preferably by fire. Now, you can't burn that fires all over. You got to be careful. Right, it has to be a right place. If you cannot burn them, burning is the best way. But if you cannot put a bonfire, then bring them into the trash bin and let them be crushed by the trash truck. Not everywhere we have facilities for collecting trash, but here in the West we are blessed. We have trucks coming in to pick up trash and they can crush some of those statues. Let them be crushed, pulverized. But if they're woods, if you're able to burn them, burn them and dissociate yourself. Don't give them out as gifts. Oh, I'll give this statue to somebody else, maybe they will find it. You are transferring demonic oppression to somebody. Don't give them out as gifts. Be ruthless to somebody. Don't give them out as gifts. Be ruthless, destroy whatever has connection to the demonic world.
Speaker 1:And then you confess, right, you confess that as sin, all right. And then you dissociate yourself. You dissociate, you delink. So after you have burnt all that, ask God to forgive you for that. You know the Bible says the days of ignorance. God has forgiven, but now he commands everyone to repent. That's all that God calls us. Sometimes we do things we didn't know, but when knowledge comes, then we have the light, we have the truth. We act according to the light that we have from God. So you confess that. You say, god, I am sorry, forgive me for for allowing my spirit to be defiled, for giving room to the enemy to bring in defilement in my life.
Speaker 1:Then you, after that, then you sanctify the home. You know, you sanctify it by prayer. Move around the home in the rooms, pray, sanctify it. If you are able to anoint with oil, good, anoint the rooms with oil in the name of the Lord. Objects used to be anointed with oil in the Old Testament, and oil is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. You can have Christian brothers come and join you in sanctifying the home, in cleansing it and cleanse yourself.
Speaker 1:Then, after you do that, you declare your home as a home where God is worshipped. Remember what Joshua did in Joshua 24, verse 15. He says as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. So you make a commitment that your home will only carry holy things. We only allow holy stuff. You're committing yourself to have your home not bringing in things that defile from your spirit. That's what Paul says.
Speaker 1:Therefore, since we have these promises beloved, let us cleanse ourselves. That's for you. Let's cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and the spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Do you fear God. Don't play with anything unholy. All right, don't play with anything unholy, all right. Don't play with anything unholy. Come out from amongst them, be separate, says the Lord, your God, and then I will receive you. I'll be a God to you and you will be my people that's what God says and I'll be a father to you and you will be my sons and daughters.
