Hi everyone and thank you for joining me for this time of Healing and Deliverance Tools. It's a podcast series where I share divine truths that help to bring healing and deliverance to those who may be suffering from demonic oppression. I am your host, dr Gilbert Munchia, and we have been looking at how demons enter in. We have said in the outset that demons cannot enter people at will or whenever they like. Right, because if that were the case, then every one of us will be demon oppressed or demon possessed. But, as we have seen in our previous teaching in 1 Peter, 5, 8 and 9, we said Peter warned and said be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion, roams around or prowls around seeking whom he may devour. And he says resist him steadfastly, in faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. So you see, he walks around, he moves around seeking whom he may devour. So we have looked at a couple of those which demons can can come in, and today we are on the fifth one. Today we are looking at the fifth one, which is emotional trauma. Emotional trauma we will look at what this is and how demons use it to gain access or to slip into people's lives. Then we will look at some examples of emotional trauma that can cause demons to enter in, and you'll be surprised at some of the things that you will see or hear. And you'll be surprised at some of the things that you will see or hear. And then we'll look at signs and symptoms of demons operating through this door. Then, quickly, we will look at the remedies. How, then, do we get set free? So let's get started with our subject today emotional trauma.

Now, this is one of the doors which shows Satan to be what he really is a merciless and evil adversary of human beings and evil adversary of human beings. Jesus described him as a thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy. And this guy, together with all his cohorts or his agents, which are demons. They are malicious, merciless and evil. Remember the rules of warfare. We said we are in a battle, as Paul says. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood in Ephesians 6 from verse 12, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places or heavenly realm. So you see, satan has an army, satan has an organized force that is carrying out their evil acts and they are all over the place and they are seeking, looking for whom they may devour.

So, because we are in a battle, the enemy if you have two enemies who are contending with each other, enemies look for the weakest areas of an enemy in order to launch an attack. They look for a weakness. That's when they want to attack at the time when you're weak. I remember I was watching some warfare of smart bombs being dropped in a certain country when the United States was at war, in a certain country, when the United States was at war, and you would see, when they wanted to blow up a building, they would look and aim the missile to go and penetrate through a weak point in that building and then it will explode on the inside of the building, on the inside of the building. The same way, the enemy looks for a weak area in order to penetrate or to gain access.

You know he uses the same tactics, the same tactics when one is severely wounded or traumatized emotionally, he is very vulnerable to attacks. At that time, the soul your soul, which is the seat of your emotions and your mind and your will your soul covers your emotions, your mind and your will making decisions. That time, when you are wounded or traumatized emotionally, then you become vulnerable. It's like the soul is in a shock. Your soul is in a shock because of the trauma that you are going through, trauma that you are going through, and this opens a door when the devil sees that they can easily slip in right. So that's what I want you to understand. It is a time when you are in an excessive trauma that opens up your life. You become open. You become open, you become vulnerable. You are not sober, you are not alert, and if the enemy moves around and comes at such a time, he wants to attack at that moment, all right. So when we go through some of these examples, I want to share with you some examples of emotional trauma that devils use, the demons use.

Look at number one, for example rejection of a baby in the womb. Yeah, you are like what? Yes, can you imagine? A baby developing in the womb is a person, is a whole person who desires love and protection, very vulnerable. It is helpless. It is defenseless. But a mother may reject a developing baby for many reasons. Maybe it's a teenage girl, maybe it was raped, for example, or maybe it doesn't have means to support. It's a single mother who has found herself suddenly pregnant and they reject that baby or they don't want for many, many reasons. That can come. But that baby is developed, is an innocent fellow on the inside. Now you may think this is unfair for certain to do this, to attack such a helpless developing creature, but that's what he likes to do. He sends a spirit of rejection well before birth. Think about that. A spirit of rejection can slip in to a baby who is rejected. And this baby was born with a spirit of rejection which will manifest much later in life. During childhood they'll have problems. They will have problems which will start to be seen. But this can come to be seen much more later on in life and there are many people battling the spirit of rejection without even knowing that their problem is a spiritual problem, right? So number one rejection. A child was rejected. The mother did not want this child to be born. Sometimes some people are survivors of abortion. Maybe the mother tried to abort several times and it didn't work and by miracle the child was born. Now that child is completely exposed, completely exposed to demonic, demonic influence or to demonic oppression, or to possession by demons.

Let me go to the second one I want to mention quickly, because I have a couple of them. I want to mention Child abuse. Child abuse Think about that. Child abuse, think about that growing in an abusive home can open children to many forms of demonic oppression. Some children are just unlucky. They're growing through a home that is full of abuses, you know, and through these abuses you know, parents cursing. Then they get spirits of anger, spirits of blasphemy cursing, they get spirits of hatred, they even get rejection. They feel rejected and loved and many other demons can slip in during childhood. For a child who grew up in an abusive home. And then you find them later in life, these same children who grew up in an abusive home, beginning to manifest the characters of their parents, if they were alcoholic, for example, or they were behaving in anger or cursings or hatred and all kinds of things. You find these children beginning to manifest those spirits. You know, I say I don't know why I am behaving like my father. I didn't like the way I was treated by my father, but I find myself doing the same things that my father did Child abuse.

Another one very similar one sexual molestation. People who have been molested sexually whether they were children being molested they get spirits. Can you imagine? Here is a child who is completely helpless being molested sexually by even parents or relatives or caretaker, caregivers, caregivers, and during this process of that sexual act, spirits, demons slip in into that child. Very many, many people who are, for example, homosexuals, uh, uh. If you follow their history you find they were. Many of them were molested during childhood and they start behaving funny and they don't even know what happened. It's a spirit that came in during that time.

Another one, number four, very similar to that, is sexual abuse at home, sexual abuse. This can take many forms. Sexual abuse there are children who are exposed to pornographic videos and materials by people who want to abuse them sexually. They are exposed to bad language at home bad language, you know, during at home. Or even spouses can abuse each other sexually. You know that can bring in a spirit. The demons can slip in. Look at that. This is a time of when somebody is wounded emotionally.

Number five rape Victims of rape. You will say, oh no. Can you imagine Victims of rape? You will say, oh no, can you imagine the trauma of rape? You know a woman has been raped and this time it's not even women alone, even men. Young men can get held and they can get raped.

And during that traumatic experience demons can easily come in. Demons can come in during that time when the person is vulnerable, being traumatized emotionally in the mind and all that you know. The other one is violent attacks and robbery. You know Violent attacks may come. Either you're being attacked or being robbed, or you experience a robbery and you get emotionally wrecked, emotionally traumatized, emotionally destroyed. Or robbery. You survive a robbery, a violent robbery, and that exposes you to a bad.

The other one is number seven wreck. Maybe you're involved in a bad car accident. I know it's terrible, many people die in the process, but you survive that. And then that picture, that picture haunts you. What you have seen, what you have heard, what you have gone through you attacks, violence. They witness people being died over there because of being involved in war, in shooting people and killing people. It's war. But they come back. That emotional trauma that they go through they don't realize Later on in life they begin to manifest things that demons slipped in during that time. Another one is a very sad one is tragic loss of a loved one, people who have been so emotionally tied together, loving one another, and then suddenly one of the spouse dies, especially if it is a tragic one. You know a tragic accident or something that draws them through a period of emotional trauma. You know a long, protracted and emotionally draining sickness. Emotionally draining sickness. This can expose the person to demonic influence. Demons can come in at that time. Another one number nine spousal abuse. Being abused by your spouse. This can expose you to emotional roller coaster. Emotional roller coaster. It's not just women being abused today. Even men can get abused by their wife and through that emotion that can open a portal, a portal through which the devil can slip in. Demons can slip in.

Another one number 10, observing or watching violent and tragic scenes. Okay, observing, you know, either you are watching through videos or you become a witness. This is like post-PTSD, post-traumatic stress syndrome. Sometimes demons are involved in that. Either you're watching a movie and some people I don't know whether you have seen that you watch a movie. You watch a violent and tragic ending movies. There are people who just love tragic scenes. I remember one time I was listening to somebody, a brother, who was telling me he watched a tragic movie and for one week, that movie just he cried throughout the movie. He was crying as he was watching how tragic this thing was and for one week, for one week or so, he just couldn't get out of that. He was, he just the sin was there, what happened and the tragedy of the events that held his soul. That's very dangerous. Be careful what you watch, and I'll talk about this later on. It's not for the moment. Okay. 11. Listen to this. This one I I read from, uh uh, from one of the books I am studying, you know, by rebecca greenwood, you know, which has been helpful, and also derrick prince's book. This is number 11.

Unemployment tragedy, you know, especially at long unemployment this can really recover, especially for men who are providers, if they, they are the ones providing for the home and all of a sudden they lose a job and they stay long without a job. Oh, then they suffer stress, they suffer trauma because of that and then things can get work at home because there's lack now of meeting basic needs. You know, the wife is talking. The children are demanding, emotions are rigged up. That's a time when demons can easily slip in. Number 12 and, and I could go on and on and I, but I'll just leave it at 12.

Uh, bullying victims, victims who have been bullied, bullied, bullied by by a in school, or bullied by their teacher, or being picked on. Somebody feels vulnerable, in a weak position. They're being bullied by other children, other older ones in a school, or something like that. That time of emotional trauma can expose a child or somebody to a spirit. So during these times and there are very many, I can't name all of them how people suffer emotional trauma, but you get the idea.

This is a time when the emotions have been drawn out, distress has come in and during this time the mind listen to this carefully the mind is attacked with thoughts of fear, sometimes anger, sometimes bitterness. It could be hopelessness, it could be depression, sometimes confusion, sometimes self-pity, even unforgiveness, you know asking question why me? Why now? Why this? You know unforgiveness, and it could even go to as far as suicidal thoughts. See. So somebody's is afraid.

A child, who child, who has been traumatized at home. They develop fear, you know they develop fear. They develop a terrible, terrible time. You know somebody who has been abused in their home or molested or sexually abused, a child abused maybe by parents, sexually abused by the parents, or things like that. This will just cause the child to have so many questions, so many. And during these times of depression, that's when the devil slips in, you know, bringing self-pity, you know, and all these kinds of stuff. Right, let's talk about how these ones manifest Now, because we have mentioned some of these things that happen during the time of emotional trauma.

It's easy to see. I mean, there's so many ways that this can manifest. There's so many ways, so I'll just mention a couple here just to give you an idea, but there's no way we can exhaust this. Demons manifest in various ways, but one rejection, rejection. There are many people who are fighting rejection, rejection. There are many people who are fighting rejection. Either you are being rejected here or rejected there. You go, you get rejected, or just feelings of rejection. You know, there are people, some people, some people are really not rejected, but they feel rejected for some reason. They just feel they are being rejected. It's a spirit and it I mean you can, you can be saved, you're walking with god, filled with the holy spirit, but but there is a spirit there that needs to be dealt with. And we can go on and on.

Number two fear people who are afraid and if they look back, there was a time there is something that happened at a particular time in their lives when fear came in. Suddenly they find themselves they are afraid, they can't trust. Another one is anger. You know anger coming out. Another one is self-pity. We have mentioned all these. Another number five. I'm talking about signs now. Number five I've mentioned rejection, I've mentioned fear, I've mentioned anger, I've mentioned self-pity.

Number five difficult to love or trust others. Those who have been abused, those who have suffered under people senior in authority, whether they're parents or teachers or other students bullying them. They have difficulty to trust other people or they grew up in an abusive home. They have problems to fall in love. They just can't trust other people. Why they feel they don't want to be trapped in another hurtful situation. It's a defense mechanism that comes in. That spirit tells them you have to defend yourself, don't trust any man, don't give yourself to any man.

Another one is number six desiring to dominate others. You're always wanting to dominate others. You're always wanting to dominate others. You know it's a spirit, spirit of dominance, it's a defense mechanism because of what you suffered, like you felt, oh, I was weak at that time. And like you're blaming yourself, I was weak, I should have fought. Oh, they took advantage of me. Now you don't want anybody to take advantage of you, so you are afraid. You are afraid.

Another one number seven unforgiving heart. Difficult to forgive, unforgiving heart. I remember I talked to another woman and she's a believer. I said you need to forgive. She said I will never forgive. Oh, my goodness, I don't want to talk about what has happened to the life of that woman. I tried my best. She just said I will not forgive. I showed her the scriptures I don't care what the scriptures say, and she's a believer. She said she's filled with the Holy Ghost. Well, your guess is as good as mine.

Anyway, then number eight lust. What? Yes, lust. It can manifest as lust. Some children start manifesting lust, sexual lust, in their lives very early. And you wonder what happened in their lives very early and you wonder what happened. You know it's a spirit that came, especially if they were molested during that sexual act. You know, a spirit came in last came in.

Another one is sexual perversion, sexual perversion. I've already explained this. You know, molested sexually, you know. And then they start developing deviant sexual desires. They become homosexuals and you test their, their roots back and they tell you you know, my uncle molested me uh, uh uh sexually when I was a little boy, or my or even some of them say pastors did that. You know, I was molested. I trusted that man and molested me. Now they are they, they, they develop deviant sexual, sexual perversion, sexual desires right. Another one is a feeling of hopelessness. There's so many, you know. Those are just just examples of of how they manifest.

It could manifest in many ways, but let's finish up quickly by taking then how do you get, if you, if you notice this? And then how do you get set free? Maybe you're saying, oh, I think I have a demon, I think I have some of these symptoms, I think there's a spirit in me. Oh, how then do you get free? Let's mention some seven quickly. I'll just mention them please. I can't go into details because these teachings are too long and people are not able to endure long teachings. All right, so how do you get freed up?

Number one you have to identify this and any signs of a spirit influence, identify. If you can identify this is a demon, don't call it anything. If you can identify this is a demon, don't call it anything. Just identify it. And then try to find out if you can locate where this happened. Of course, if you're a child and you are rejected, you may not realize. But if you're feeling signs of rejection or you're feeling rejected even when you're not rejected, then you could be dealing with a demon that entered from childhood. Okay, so through your parents. It was not your mistake, it was your parents. So, number two, when you've identified is a demon, a demonic spirit? There's a spiritual influence.

Then, number two, if it is your parents who rejected you or you're abused or anything, confess the sins of your parents. Yes, you need to do that. Say, oh, what they did that to me. It is not me. No, no, no, no. Remember what we shared about generational curses. All right, it says I will visit the sins of the parents to the children up to the third or fourth generation. I already spoke and taught about that, you know. And in lamentation, chapter five, and it says Our fathers sinned and we are bearing the shame of it. We are bearing the pain. Now that's Jeremiah lamenting. We've covered that. So you confess the sins as if it is you who did that. It is you who did that. Confess that rejection. Confess that bad spirit of rejecting a child. Confess that sin of your parent, whatever it is.

Number three if there are people who hurt you in the past, forgive them. You have to forgive. Oh, pastor, you don't know what they did to me. Yes, I don't know. I know you suffered, I know you were abused, I know it's painful, but forgiving is the first step you need to do in order to free yourself. If you don't forgive, then you are the one who is a prisoner. They may not even be aware, they may be walking there outside, but you yourself, you are a prisoner. You are a prisoner of your past. You are carrying that unforgiveness. Oh, they did this to me. You don't know what. Yes, I don't know, but God is going to help you. The issue is not forgetting, but to let them go. They did this to you, but, god, I choose to forgive them. I choose to forgive them because if you don't do, the enemy will have a stronghold there. It cannot kick him out. So forgive.

Number four call on God for the healing of your soul. Okay, the bible says whoever shall call on the name of the lord shall be saved, and that's romans, chapter 10 and verse 13. It is you, not anybody else. Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. That word saved is sozo, which carries health, carries deliverance, carries healing, carries restoration. So you have to call on God, ask God, lord, I was wounded. God, you are my deliverer. God, you are my deliverer. God, you are my healer. God, you are the one who restores my heart that was broken.

Some people have suffered emotional trauma just by having people they loved just breaking their hearts. I didn't mention that as one of the sources, but I told you there are many. You know people. Marriages break up and break up in a bad way, and then there's a lot of trauma, people you trusted so badly and then they completely destroy your trust and destroy you. That can open doors for demons. So you have to call on God forgive them, and then call on God for healing of your soul. Then, after you have called on God, there is God's part, but there is your part.

Number five you have to command the demons to leave you Right. Remember what we have read as we started Resist the devil. 1 Peter 5, verse 9 resist the devil and he will flee. You have to offer resistance, you have to stand and you have to tell the enemy you spirit, you have been living inside of me, molesting me, giving me fear, giving me anger, giving me, giving me fear, giving me anger, giving me hatred, giving me bitterness. I reject you. You have to reject, you have to reject seriously. Fight the enemy, alright, fight the enemy. So you command the demons to leave and then you stand your ground and resist. Deny him the room, rob him of his right to continue staying and oppressing you. That is number six. So command the demons is number five, then number six. You stand your ground and resist the devil. That was number six.

And then number seven you have to fill your heart with the praise and thanksgiving to god and jesus as your deliverer, and jesus as your deliverer. So you're filling your heart. You start praising god, god, thanking God by faith. Lord, I thank you, you are my deliverer, thank you that I am free, thank you that you won the battle against the devils, against demons. Thank you that that spirit of rejection is broken, thank you that the spirit of fear is broken. You start praising god and this is a continuous lifestyle, or lifestyle of warding the enemy, warding the enemy away. At some point we will learn about the spiritual armament and how to use it, but these are just ways and means of us getting free. Well, our time is up. I have to close, and so I hope you are getting blessed. You are learning something very precious that will help you live a life of freedom from demonic oppression.

When it's finished, go to our website, look for that teaching, because that prepares your heart. It has to be by faith. We have to believe God together. So I share a little word there to prepare your heart, because faith comes by hearing the word of God. Then we hold together, we stand together, we believe together for a miracle in your life, and you're saying, oh, pastor, I have already prayed, I've already prayed with you, I've watched that several times I say go again. And so I go again. Listen to it, put it on your ears. Let that prayer, let that teaching come again and again and listen to it. Listen to the prayer, agree and agree, as you do, that faith is rising up. God will see that you're believing God and saying Lord, I am not letting go. The enemy will not have a say over my life. This demon has to go, this sickness has to go. And you are agreeing. You are standing in faith and battling her. So you do that.
