Hi there and welcome to this session of Healing and Deliverance Tool. It's a teaching series where I share some divine truth that can help bring healing and deliverance from demonic oppression. Demonic oppression my name is Dr Gilbert Moccia and I'm delighted that you can join me in this session today. Now we have been looking at how demons enter people, and we have uncovered a number of routes or doors. A quick reminder again, if you haven't watched other teachings before, that we have said in the past that demons cannot enter at will. They look for legal rights to enter, rights to enter. If they had the power to enter whenever they want to, then everyone will be suffering from demonic oppressions or possession. But they have to gain legal rights for them to come in and bring oppression. And so we have covered several entry points.
Speaker 1:Satan uses entertainment to capture people or to cause them to open doors. Remember we said in 1 Peter, 5, 8 and 9, you need to read that and keep in mind. Mind he says be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, roams around, or walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, and so he is looking. He has to get the right candidate and then he diverts. So let's go ahead now and look at this entertainment industry. Now we have to understand that our bodies have entry points where certain can come in. If we can locate these entry points, then we can close those doors. First of all, if we give legal rights to Satan, then we can rob those or remove those legal rights, then expel the enemy and then close the door against the enemy. Those are really some of the things that we'll see every time we are finishing. We finish by giving you steps how you can get yourself free if you find that you have been trapped by the enemy, by the enemy. So our bodies have entry points to our souls, and so Satan seeks to influence and eventually control every aspect of our lives.
Speaker 1:I always want to start with the scripture, and so let me read with you what Jesus says in Matthew, chapter six. He says the lamp of the body is the eye. If, therefore, your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If, therefore, the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness? Now, those are the words of Jesus. Really, he's just exposing and telling us that your eyes are important. It's important what you see. It's important what you see. It's important what you watch. And, as we see, we'll see in a little bit, this is just a representation of one sensory organ. Sensory organ, a sensory organ through which Satan uses to bring control over humanity. It's not the only one, but it's good, because this gives us a sense to see how things all begin.
Speaker 1:Now, if we go to Genesis 3, and verse 1 through 7, you see the enemy using a trick, first of all to pose man to doubt God's sincerity. God had given our first parents command, and every command, every instruction God has given is for man's own good. Now, eve did not know this, and so Satan uses the trick to make man doubt God's intention. Did God really say, first of all, he's fighting the word of God? What God has said, make you to doubt. And then, when you say this, then he says, no, god knows that the day that you will eat, you will become wise. So he tries to make man feel as though God has some ulterior motive. His intentions were not good. It's just deception. And the key thing is he enlists Eve to use her eyes. To use her eyes and look.
Speaker 1:We read in verse 6,. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes and desirable to make one wise, she took of the tree and ate it. Wise, she took off the tree and ate it. You see, satan didn't force it. He didn't pick the tree, the fruit, and give to the woman. He wanted the woman to pick it herself.
Speaker 1:See, god has given man free will and Satan knows God respects the will of man. It is your decision. He can only entice, he can only seduce, he can only try to influence you, to break you and I, to break or to doubt God, to break his command, to break his command, and that way that gives him legal right to come in and begin to oppress. And the same thing he did then, the same thing he is doing today Now. We love and enjoy our entertainments and there's nothing wrong with having leisure time. But Satan knows that entertainment is a big part of every man's life and is a fertile ground for him to trap humanity, to open doors for demonic influence and oppression. He knows that if he can bring in, he can seduce you right there. Then many times we find ourselves, we have been caught unawares.
Speaker 1:So entertainment industry is filled with all ranges of satanism, from blatant worship of Satan and promotion of witchcraft with all other evil practices, to some very covert, hidden innuendos of evil. They are hidden there. Some of them are open, as I'm saying. You know, obviously you can see this is Satanism, this is evil. But in some other areas he comes in with deception. He's hidden those traps inside and people are walking right into it without even knowing it.
Speaker 1:So when we know how he comes in, remember we are saying the Bible says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. So we are fighting ignorance. That's Hosea 4, verse 6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. If we don't know, if we don't know the tricks of the enemy, then we will walk right into it and Satan will take advantage of us. We read that verse very important 2 Corinthians 2 and verse 11. For we are not ignorant of Satan's devices lest he takes advantage of us. I've spoken that and I will keep repeating that. The enemy takes advantage of the areas that we are not watchful, that we are not careful. Then we walk right into the traps which he has set and then we open our lives to demonic oppression.
Speaker 1:So we want to see some of these, so I want to go through some, just mention them. I know you know them, but we are bringing this knowledge together that all of us can do what Peter said be sober, be vigilant. Why? Because we have an enemy, we have an adversary, and he is out there seeking whom he may devour. And he may find you when you are completely unguarded. And then you begin to manifest some things and you wonder where did this come from? How did I get here? Well, it's because you open the door, or we open the door unknowingly, but when we get to know it, thank God, there is a way to get into freedom, there is a way to be released. Okay, because Satan has no power over us, except that which we agree with him or we allow him to continue.
Speaker 1:So let's look at some of these examples and I'll just mention them and use your discretion so that you can know that you see, there is good entertainment and bad entertainment. So let's mention some of these areas which Satan uses. Number one television shows. Television shows. Now, I don't need to say this to you, but you know it as much as I do, and everyone does, that there are many shows that teach and promote witchcraft, violence, murders, et cetera. So much, all kinds of evil. I mean just the television industry is one big area, just part of entertainment and because man wants to have this momentary pleasure, okay, the Bible says the thief comes not but to steal and to kill and to destroy.
Speaker 1:That's what the devil is all about. He wants to steal us, he wants to steal and then kill and eventually destroy our lives. That's John 10, verse 10. Eventually destroy our lives? That's John 10, verse 10, where Jesus says but I came, that they may have life, and have it abundantly. Those of us who are in Christ, we have abundant life. People look at us and say, oh, you guys don't do this, you don't do this, you are missing out. Oh, no, nothing, that's absolute rubbish. It's very temporal pleasure that doesn't even last. What we have is life. We have joy, we have peace, we have contentment, right, we rejoice in the lord. We know where life is because we have found life. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. But anyway, let me get to my point here Television shows.
Speaker 1:You have to know that they are TV shows which are simply no-go zones. No-go zones, they are just bad and some people just watching these television shows, they have opened, because your eyes, your lamp, your eyes, your door, what you hear, what you touch, what you taste, remember, it's all those senses. Jesus just talked about the eyes, but also your ears. He just mentions one sense, one sense of the body, but we have your ears, you have your nose. Some people are just drawn by what they smell. Oh, I smell so good, like the spirit of gluttony, for example. Gluttony, those who have the spirit, is their smell, is their taste, and god, the enemy, uses that. And there you get a gluttonous spirit. All right, and uh, uh, and so so you know how, how TV shows, some of them are just completely useless, completely, completely evil. They just no, goes on, you shouldn't go there. Number two is very similar. It's still also in the television, but I just mention it separately because it's a particular kind of show Soap operas.
Speaker 1:What? Yes, soap operas, soap operas. Well, what do I say about soap operas? And many of them are just based on lies, illicit sex, perversion and you name it, and I don't have to mention all of them. But there are so many, many, many people who have opened doors to pervasive spirits, to spirits of lust and sexual immorality just by continually watching these operas. Some of them actually have that name. The name is just lust. You know, I remember I used to watch some years ago.
Speaker 1:In our country there's an opera that came in. It was drawing people, drawing people I don't want to name it by name, you know it was drawing people and people were watching and everyone was talking about it. So I decided let me see what's going on here. I watched a couple of and it was very a couple of sessions and it was very, very attractive, very drawing you long what going to happen the next. But wow, just going around a couple of, a couple of episodes and all I realized was just promoting lass, promoting lies, promoting sex, illicit sex and see, just showing how, how you know, stealing sex and and and and and, adultery and fornication and all kinds of stuff. That was really nice and I just said no, no, no, this is not for me, and I just cut myself. I just cut myself. Nope, this is it, this is not for me. And I just cut myself. I just cut myself. Nope, this is it, this is not for me.
Speaker 1:And the people, who are people, just continued and, as a result, we have broken homes, we have adulteries, and where have all this come from? It's just through watching, through what is being promoted, through the spirit behind what you are watching. Watch that very carefully. What is it promoting and is it in line with the word, is it in line with the true morality, what God wants?
Speaker 1:And number three video games, video games. Wow, we love our games, we love our video games and I tell you what you and I know more than I. I don't play so much games so I don't know them much by name, but you know how there are certain games that are just based again on violence, murderers. There are also games just for witchcraft and magic, all forms of magic, promotion of magic and things like that. And many serial killers, for example, when they are followed behind. People have investigated their lives how this all began. They found there were people who were watching or pinging on violent, violent games, these games of shooting and murdering, games of shooting and murdering, and they open their hearts and their spirits to evil spirits of violence, evil spirits of cursing and blaspheming and all kinds of evil. So it's not all games are good. I mean, we play our games, but it is not all games that are good you know. So some people have opened themselves up. Okay, let me go to number four Pornographic material, watching porn, getting entertained by pornography.
Speaker 1:It looks attractive, it looks attractive, it looks nice. It starts up the emotions, but the end thereof is destruction. The enemy. He comes to steal, to kill and to destroy. That's what the enemy does. He comes to steal your mind and some people have had their minds completely destroyed. Their lives are just full of evil. When you watch some of these scenes, they link up with you. They cloud your mind, your mind. You develop a stronghold in your mind. It's like a stronghold that holds you, hold in your mind. It's like a stronghold that holds you and people, some families are just broken just because one of the spouse has become addicted to pornography and it destroys you. Thinker is helping that. You end up getting destroyed. Even your life in the future is in danger. So if you have been caught up in that web in danger, so if you have been caught up in that web, in that trap of the enemy, there is a way out. Don't feel like you can't get free. You can't. There are many people who have been freed. Once truth has come to them, once this light has come. They have followed steps to break that and to dissociate. You have to delink yourself. We'll talk a little bit about that at the end, all right?
Speaker 1:Number five books and magazines. Books and magazines, the books we read, the novels. You know novels, we read the books. We read the magazines we subscribe to and receive these ones. Some of them are demonically engineered. They promote all kinds of evil and you can find yourself opening yourself to some spirits, very evil spirits, into your life and you get yourself bound. You start manifesting some things I don't know where they have come from.
Speaker 1:Number six movies, uh-huh movies. These are different from television movies where we go out to watch and there's some movies are just terrible. You know violent movies, movies of violence. You know they're. They are the young people you know who have attended some some movies and they have come out of those movies and gone home and committed suicide. How did that happen? You know they went to watch a movie but they didn't know that that environment is like there's an anointing of evil spirits ready to pounce. You see, the enemy walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. And so some people have exposed themselves by going to certain evil movies, satanic movies and witchcraft movies, satanic movies and witchcraft movies, and they have opened their hearts to all forms of evil spirits, all forms of darkness has come in and they've come out of their lives. They are bound and it becomes a struggle in their lives.
Speaker 1:Where is this coming from? Let me mention one more. I cannot exhaust the entertainment industry. There is so much outside there, not only television. Now you can go into the internet. You can visit websites there, all forms of website, evil websites, what you listen, what you watch, whatever it is. I'm just giving you just a little bit of that. But the sites you go to, websites, you go to the things that you watch. You know YouTube and you know just on your laptop.
Speaker 1:Today we are working with our phones. Our phones have become a powerful tool for the hand of the enemy to enslave. One time I found some very dirty stuff coming through my phone. I'm like, where is this coming from? You know how is this? I didn't even get here and it was a battle to delete them, to delete them until eventually. I think facebook knew I have no business with that, you know, but it's a battle is we are so inundated with all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 1:Number seven, mention number seven, quickly here, and I'll stop there. There's so many we can go in and I know you get the point. Number seven music. What, yes, music, music is also an avenue enemy uses. Satan uses new music to cause people to open their souls, because music goes not just to the ears, it penetrates right into the soul. And there are some lyrics, there are some beats that are used in the demon. They belong to Satan, they belong to the kingdom of darkness. Do you know which is? They have their own music. If you go to Africa, for example, when they want to start up the demons or the demonic world, or the demonic world, there are particular beats that, when they begin to be played, the demonic activities now manifest those people who are playing them. Now they start manifesting those spirits. Music is powerful. Music is powerful. It's not all music Lyrics.
Speaker 1:Oh, my goodness, we can give tons and tons and tons of lyrics which are just so evil. Last uh lies, uh matters. You know, uh, immorality, you know portraying wrong kinds of love and and illicit sex and all kinds of stuff. I I just say in a nutshell what you listen is important, you know. I see people, I hear people just enjoying some secular music. And these are believers, right Believers enjoying some secular music. Well, I don't know about you. There's more than enough good music to listen to. There's more than enough music that can enrich your soul. Why I don't have time for that.
Speaker 1:When I was not born again, I used to listen. I had tons and tons of music, secular music. When I gave my life to Christ, when I completely dissociated, I destroyed whatever I had that had connection to the world. That's the way to do it. I had to do that because I wanted to clear and it took some time for my mind to be cleared up. Those songs are still there, you know, but now they don't affect me. They don't affect me, but they were. I came to realize they were engraved deep down into my soul. You know, some of them were like spirits that I had to fight. I had to resist the enemy what the Bible says until I got my freedom.
Speaker 1:So music, what are you listening to? What do you listen? What do you allow to come into your ears? What do you allow to come through your eyes? You know what are you touching? You know the Bible says God, god said don't touch it. You know he says touch no evil thing and I will receive you. So that's, that's the instruction of god. What are you touching? What are you touching is is a holy, is a good. What are you listening to? Is it edifying your soul? Is it building you up or is it as opening your soul? Is it building you up or is it opening your soul to spirits that will come in and you see, one evil spirit comes in and they invite other evil ones and some people you start manifesting.
Speaker 1:As I said, you start, you, you, you. You're struggling to stay away from lustful thoughts. They are always lingering, following you. How do they come and come to realize it's music, the music you're listening to. You know they, uh.
Speaker 1:And so you and I have to be sober, we have to be vigilant, we have to take a step. So what do we do? All right, our time is up. What do we do to get ourselves free? We have to take a stand.
Speaker 1:If you know, there's some things that you have. You know, as I've taught, destroy what is not of god, destroy what is giving certain rights to come in and oppress you. You just have to do that. You just have to say no to it and then confess that as sin. Confess that as sin and ask God to forgive you. You have to do that. That removes the right, because there's something that God has given for sin and that is confession. There's a blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin. Right, so confess that before God and God is going to forgive you. And then, now that removes the right, now you can take your stand against any spirit that may have come in, whether it is a spirit of lust, an immoral spirit or spirit of perversion. You can take your stand and say Satan, you have no place, you have no room into my life. I have closed the door. So you expel the enemy and then you close the door. How do you close the door?
Speaker 1:I think that we can take advice from, uh, from from david. David says this in in psalms 103 many scriptures that we could read, but that will take us long time psalms 101 and verse 3,. David says I will set nothing wicked before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away. It shall not cling on me. I'm just interested in that first phrase. He says I will set nothing wicked before my eyes. See, you make a covenant. As job said, I've made a covenant with my eyes. You decide. It has to be a decision of the will and beloved.
Speaker 1:There are so many good things to watch, there are so many good entertainments to keep ourselves in our leisure time, in our relaxing time. There is edifying stuff. There is good things that will build your life and fill your life with the life of truth and godliness, and you can have them. They are all available. You see, when a television program comes, that is not right. You can turn it off. You have the remote Turn it off. You can turn it off. You have the remote Turn it off. You can change the channel, go to another channel. You can do all kinds of stuff. If you're watching and flipping on your phone and something evil evil will always be around us. It's all over the place. But to continue watching and continue and continue and continue and bring in, that's your choice. It's your choice, it's my choice, that's what we try to take. Stand against, so that the enemy doesn't see that. It's become a habit now, it becomes a stronghold in our lives. Okay, we'll see all these kinds of. They will always be there, you know. But let's be cautious.
