Hi there and welcome to this session of Healing and Deliverance Tool. It's a teaching series where I share divine truths that can help bring healing and deliverance to those oppressed by demons. My name is Dr Gilbert Muccia and I'm delighted that you can join me in this session. The doors which they use to come into people's lives and begin to oppress or possess. Today, I want us to look at this topic negative confession as a door which demons can use to bring oppression into people's lives. Now, if you are new to this teaching, remember we have said in the past and you can find other teachings that have gone before in our channels that demons cannot enter at will, like like, whenever they want they enter people. They look for legal rights to enter into people's lives and begin to do their malicious and malevolent acts of evil. Peter says be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion, walks around seeking whom he may devour. So we know that he cannot devour everyone, but he goes around to look for specific kind of people. Now, demons will look for divine, divine rights to do so. And how do they get these rights? They get them by looking for violations of the law of god. So we have covered that a number of times, time to be able to explain that. And so today we want to look at negative confessions of the mouth as a door which the enemy can exploit and come in. Now our words are important. The words which you speak, the words that you release have power. They are important and we'll look at this in a short while why words are important.
Speaker 1:But I want to read a scripture, as usual in Proverbs 18, verse 21,. A very familiar scriptures for those who are not new to the Bible Proverbs 18, 21,. It says death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love love it will eat its fruit. So there is power in words that we speak. The bible there, the writer of the proverb, says your words have the power of death and the power of life. Death is really the climax of all the negative things of life that we can bring on ourselves, and there are very many negative things that we can bring on ourselves, like you can bring on yourself a defeat by your words discouragement, destruction, disease, breakdown, failures, loss and, of course, death will be right up there. So he says death and life are in the power of the tongue, and there are people who just continually speak negative things. But it's not only death. The good news is it is death and life, so it's all opposite end of the spectrum. It's your choice and my choice. Am I speaking? Life and life, of course, is the climax of all the positive things that we can bring on ourselves, and when we talk about this, some people get you know, they recoil, say is it, name it and grab it. You know, and the truth of the word of God has been mad because of some people who have used the word of God wrongly, in a fleshly way, and have cut some people off from the truth of God.
Speaker 1:Now I took a whole I think almost a whole year to share on this subject about the power of our words, and so I'll only get some snippets here and there to bring them together so that we can also be able to incorporate here and understand how demons can also come in and use our words against us. We need to know that. Why are our words important? Now I'll just mention these. I'll not go into deep details because I have covered them in a teaching series in our church website and in our YouTube channel. You will find them there.
Speaker 1:But number one reason is because we are created in the image of God. We are created in the image of God. Let me read Genesis, chapter 1, and verse 26 and 27. I'll read it from the Living Bible. It says then God said let us make man, someone like ourselves, to be the master of life upon the earth and in the skies and in the earth Verse 27,. So God made man like his maker, like God. Did God make man man and made? Did he make them? Wow, that's a very powerful word. It simplifies it, but it brings the meaning that god, after creating all things, he said let us make man someone like ourselves. Now, who was god? God was speaking things into creation. He spoke and things were, he spoke and things happened. And then he, he said after he created. Then he created man like his maker. We are not gods, but there is something special about you and I. From the all creation God has made, we are very special. We are created in the image of God. Again, I repeat this I shared these details in our teachings and they're there in our Faith Life Victory, actually in our YouTube channel, faith Life Victory. So if you go to at Faith Life Victory, you will find all these teachings, and I'm in the process of writing a book which I believe is going to be a blessing to many as I bring these teachings together.
Speaker 1:So, number one God created man in his own image. God's words were powerful and your words are spirits. Your words have power, your words are not just empty words that you speak. And then, number two, why our words are powerful, is that jesus came and revealed to us a spiritual law when he was teaching. Uh, he spoke in in mark, chapter 11, and verse 23 says verily, verily, oh for assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his hurt but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Speaker 1:Now, when Jesus was teaching that he was revealing what God has created, what God has said, this is, I call it the law of words, the spiritual law of words. Now you have to understand that God has created this physical world from the spiritual and their physical laws which God has set. And these laws are working, whether or not we are aware of them. It is for man to discover them. They are there to be discovered and then man leverages these laws to his own benefit. Not knowing these laws put one at a disadvantage, like the law of gravity, for example. It works whether you believe in it or not.
Speaker 1:The same way, there are spiritual laws, there are laws in the spirit which God has said, and one of them is a law of words. And here Jesus is putting it in a simple way. He says whoever will say and continue to say and believes in his heart. So he says about mountains or roads, but it's really the words he says whoever shall say to this mountain or anything in that matter, he said whoever shall say to this mountain or anything in that matter, and believes in his heart that the things that he will say will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. That's a law of words. What you say is important, what you say is powerful, and I went into great details unpacking this revelation.
Speaker 1:I know this word has been aligned and called the word of faith, movement or things like that in the Christian circles and because of some abuses, many people have shut themselves away from a very powerful revelation. Jesus was not ashamed to teach about the laws of God and we shouldn't be, no matter how other peoples abuse the word, abuse the truth. Truth is truth. Truth will stand forever. So you can't stand there and say, oh, my church doesn't believe in this, well then they don't believe in what Jesus taught.
Speaker 1:Right? So we can't conflict, we can't fault Jesus. Right, he spoke and he taught. And he said either he was right or he was not. And we know he was right, all right. So words of power.
Speaker 1:Number one God created us in his own image. Number two there is the law of words, the law of words which Jesus revealed that it is in operation. So not knowing these laws will put you and I at a disadvantage, because then we are careless with our words. And number three is that we have an adversary. Why our words are important is because we have an adversary, the devil, who takes advantage of our careless confession. The devil takes advantage of our careless confession. The devil takes advantage of our careless confession. Beloved death and life are in the power of the tongue. You can't take that. It's in the word of God. It is the truth that works. And I can go on and on and on.
Speaker 1:The word of God is full of warnings about the words that you speak, how you speak, what you say can open a door to the adversary, can open a door to the enemy, and I'll show you in a little bit how this possibly will be working. But let me read you one warning. Possibly will be working, but let me read you one warning. Let me share with you just one warning in the word about our words. This is Proverbs 21, verse 23. Proverbs 21, verse 23. I'm reading from the NIV version. It says those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity. Listen to that those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity. Are you guarding your mouth? Are you guarding? That's the word it means. If you're just careless, if you just stop and talk and talk, confess, confess, confess, then you start bringing things into your life. You are opening up your soul, you're opening up your spirit to demonic powers, to evil powers.
Speaker 1:Demons are the primary agents which Satan uses to carry out his evil and destructive acts. Evil acts against humanity, against human beings. So our enemy looks or prowls around. He is looking for opportunities. He takes advantage, and one of the things that he takes advantage of us is our careless confessions. Remember again 2 Corinthians, chapter 1 and verse 21. Paul says lest the enemy takes advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices. You see, we have covered that at depth. How the enemy takes advantage of us because we are ignorant. My people perish for lack of knowledge. For lack of knowledge, we just speak, we're just careful.
Speaker 1:You know James chapter In the book of James. We see in chapter three, where he speaks about the power of the tongue, verse six. He says your tongue is a fire. Your tongue can set the whole course of your life on fire. How the enemy knows these things.
Speaker 1:So how then does the enemy take advantage? How does the enemy use our words? First of all number one he knows the spiritual laws that have been set by the creator of the universe. Satan knows, he has knowledge. He knows what God has said, what the laws are in operation. This world is running by the laws that were made by the creator. Number two how Satan uses our words he knows that God is committed to his word. God is committed to his word. Whatever God has said, that's a commitment. God wants to keep his word. Whatever God has said, that's a commitment. God wants to keep his word.
Speaker 1:That's what he told Jeremiah in Jeremiah, chapter 1 and verse 12. He told Jeremiah, you have seen correctly, for I am watching over my word to perform it. I am watching, I am bringing to pass that which I have said. I'm just paraphrasing that you can read in Jeremiah 1, verse 12. I am watching over my word to perform it, to fulfill it, to bring it to pass. But as God said about his word, he says in Psalms 111 and verse 89, listen, he says your word forever, o Lord, your word is settled in heaven. That's how it is the word of God. Whatever God has said is settled. Nothing can change it. Your word is what David says. He says I will worship towards your holy temple and praise your name for your loving, kindness and truth, for you have magnified your word above your name. You have magnified your word above your name. I am interested in that particular phrase there where David says you have magnified your word above your name, or you have exalted your word. God values his word. God values what he has said. Whatever he has said holds, and he has magnified his word above his own name. Think about that.
Speaker 1:Satan is called the accuser of the brethren. Listen to what Revelation, chapter 12, verse 10 and 11 says. Revelation 12, verse 10 and 11 says Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom or dominion reign over our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our believing brothers and sisters has been thrown down at last, he who accuses them and keeps bringing charges of sinful behavior against them before our God, day and night. And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounced their faith, even when faced with death. Now I have read it from the Amplified Version, right, because it brings out some of the lost meanings.
Speaker 1:But I'm interested in that particular part. There he says that the accuser, him who accuses our brothers and sisters. He accuses them. It is a continuous phrase. And now if you read King James Version it says he accused them. It might deceive you as though he's talking about something that was done in the past. It's no longer happening. No, I've read the Amplified Version so that you can see. If you read the NIV also, it brings out that continuous present prose that he accuses them before God, day and night.
Speaker 1:All right, so this is what the enemy does he looks for opportunities by looking at some of the things we are doing, some of things, so he goes to accuse. Accuse. So if you keep saying, remember, satan is not everywhere and this only god is omnipresent, but he has demons, he has, he has a, he has a hierarchy, he has his own army, who, who may, may catch some of the words that you keep saying, especially if it's something that you repeatedly say, you confess and keep repeating that Well, the enemy may catch that. Then your words will become a source where he can go and accuse. Remember, you know, if you're saying something and then he catches that, he will accuse you before God, because he knows the law of God. God has said in his word whoever shall say Now you keep saying, until you start believing what you are saying, then he can accuse you before God and say listen to what so-and-so is saying. Listen, you are the one who has said in your word that whoever shall say and believe in his heart shall no doubt what he is saying. He shall have what he says. All right, this is what so-and-so. This is what Mary is saying. This is what Tom is saying, this is what Grace is saying, or this is what, whatever name it is, this is what grace is saying, or this is what. Whatever name it is, this is what he is saying. So he uses that to accuse you before God. Oh God says, my people perish for lack of knowledge. Now the enemy has the right he has legal rights to bring his spirits, to bring to pass that which you have been confessing.
Speaker 1:Let me give examples. There are a few examples here, and you can go on and on and on. The example of health, for example. Suppose somebody is always saying oh, my great-great-grandmother died of cancer, you know, and my great-grandmother, my grandmother also and my aunt also. And he keeps on saying on and on and on. And he says cancer runs in our family, you know. And they keep repeating that you know. Everywhere they go they tell people you know, that's just that we are, this is our family. You know, it runs in our family, I know. I looked at the history of such a great, great, great grandfather. That's what killed him. And then another one that's what killed him Also died of hypertension. And also hypertension rises, high blood pressure runs in our family. It's been killing our family. It's just the way we are.
Speaker 1:And this fellow confesses that and believes in his heart and he's a believer. But my people perish for lack of knowledge. You have given fodder to the enemy by your confession. You have given the enemy the right to go and accuse you before the throne of God and say this is what James is saying, this is what your word says. He deserves to receive what he says. There's nothing that the enemy can't get. That's just an example of health.
Speaker 1:You can go to examples of business. Some people, just you know, negative confession about their businesses. I always get and they put it, I always get bad breaks. You know, every time I invest I lose. You know, I keep trying. Even now I'm trying. But I know, I know, I know something, just something will come out of nowhere, out of nowhere and it's just going to go down. It's just going to go down and I have to start all over again. You know, this is just how things work for me. You know, and they confess those negative things, negative defeat, negative destruction. They are always on the negative, on the negative. They don't know that their words have power. The enemy takes advantage of that.
Speaker 1:Family. My three confessions about family I'm just giving examples. You know what are you saying about your family? My family is just a mess. You are not. You know my family is a mess. You know I have an insane spouse. Oh, my kids are rebellious. You know, and on and on and on. The people that's just their life, that's just their story. And they love to talk. They think it's just a joke, you know. And the enemy picks up that confession. The enemy picks up those words yes, career, I don't want to talk about your career. What have you been saying about your career? You can give you know what people say about their careers, what people say about their school, what people say about everything around them.
Speaker 1:Negative confession you have to know there is a law of words. It's a law of words. And Jesus said whoever shall say to this mountain, whoever shall say to this and that be removed, be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt but believe that those things he says will come to pass, he shall have whatever he says. Is it good? He will have it. Is it bad? He will have it. It's a negative confession. They open a door, a portal, a way for the enemy to bring in oppression.
Speaker 1:What have you been saying, beloved? What have you been saying beloved? What have you been confessing? Well, you're saying, oh, I think I've been talking carelessly. Well, it's time to change. What do you do? Revise that. Begin to speak positive. Speak good. Speak positive, even when you see negative, mask that, say something positive. Believe God for a change. That's what you do. Cancel what you have been saying. Begin to speak God, because death and life are in the power of the tongue. Why are you afraid of speaking about benefits? Speak God. Speak benefits, you know. Speak wonderful things. Speak prosperity about benefits. Speak good, speak benefits. Speak wonderful things. Speak prosperity about yourself. Speak promotion in your job. Don't just speak that you're going down. When people say they're going down, speak promotion. You're being lifted up. Speak you're doing good. Speak gain. Speak health. Speak health. Speak victory in your good. Speak gain. Speak health. Speak health, you know. Speak victory in your life. Let there be victory. Don't just talk about defeats, about disease, about breakdown, about loss, about failures. You know it's just discouragement, just negative stuff. All these. They feed on the enemy. They give legal rights to the enemy. So that's your part. I can't pray for you over your confession. You don't need prayer, you just need to change your talk. Change your talk. As we have read in that verse here it says those who guard their mouths and their tongue keep themselves from calamity Proverbs 21 and 23. You guard your mouth. I can't do that for you. Nobody can do that for you. Guard what you allow to come out of your mouth. People should just change their conversation. Hallelujah, hope you are getting some benefit out of this and let's not open the door to the enemy. And if you need other forms of prayer, maybe you want to agree with me in prayer.
