All right, warm welcome to our time of teaching. We are going to finish up a little teachings that we have been having on fasting. Our subject has been understanding and practicing fasting, and we have looked at what fasting is. We have covered types of fastings that we see in the Bible. We have covered when to fast, and today we are going to look at how to fast, and today we are going to look at how to fast. So today we will look at how to fast, and I keep repeating this, and it's necessary Fasting is a misunderstood subject.
Speaker 1:Some people have carried it on to the detriment of their health because of wrong ways of doing it, and so it is important that you listen to up with a clear understanding. When you know what it is and how to do it, the results that you get are better. So I do encourage and repeat that you make a point to have a whole package, a point to have a whole package. If you look at just one message and you base your understanding on that one message, that can be misleading, because we have looked at the physical benefits of fasting, but it is not only physical and health benefits. We have looked at a spiritual benefit. So all that comes together as a package and then it gives you an idea of what the Bible teaches about the subject of fasting. So today we will look at how to fast. So today we will look at how to fast and that will be our last session on that particular series how do I practice fasting, the preparation for fasting? Then I will talk about right motives, I will talk about right attitude and I will talk about right kind of fasting.
Speaker 1:Let's go on now and look at the preparation that you need when you are planning to fast. And I will take you to Daniel really quickly, daniel, chapter 10, and I will read from verse 2 and probably skip there and take you to verse 10. In those days I, daniel, was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all till the three whole weeks were fulfilled. I will skip and go to verse number 12. I'm reading. Then he said to me yourself, before your God, your words were heard and I have come because of your words, the key phrase that I am interested. There, the angel is telling Daniel that you set your heart okay, daniel, that you set your heart. Okay, you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself. In other words, there is a preparation that Daniel underwent. He saw a vision, he understood it and he wanted to know from God what does that exactly mean? Because it was talking about a long period of time to come. So he prepared himself.
Speaker 1:So it is necessary to prepare yourself. If you are going to go to a fasting period. Now, what kind of preparation do you need? I'll just mention in passing this is something that will come as a result of practice. I'll mention what I do myself. If I'm going to go, especially if it is a long, protracted time of fasting, of seeking the Lord, of humbling yourself, what I do is I try to prepare my body for that time.
Speaker 1:You can prepare yourself by reducing the food or the number of meals that you take, and the other thing that can be helpful, it is when it comes to caffeine, for example. If your body is used to caffeine and ain't nothing wrong with caffeine, it is not sinful okay. But there are people who are used to their coffee, they are used to their tea. If they don't take tea, they become cranky, they lose focus, they become irritable, they become so hard to deal with. Okay. Now, if you are that kind of a person, you want to prepare yourself, you want to before you come into fasting. This is what I do. I'm just giving you what I do in preparation.
Speaker 1:If I want to go to some a lengthy period of fasting, I unhook myself from from tea. I love my tea, I take my tea, sometimes coffee, but not always. Some people use coffee. I love it. So you withdraw from that. But I am eating my food. That gives me a merging in process, if you like. Okay, so that even though my body is denied the caffeine that it is used to because I am eating my food and I have sugar and I have other nutrients, the effect of withdrawing from coffee is gradually overpowered, so that when I get into my fast, all I am dealing with is hunger pangs, but I don't have to deal with the effect that I'm not taking my coffee. Oh, I am not taking my tea, all right. So I have learned that to practice, I prepare myself.
Speaker 1:And so the Bible is saying here Daniel set his heart and there is something that happens, beloved, when your mind is prepared to go into a season of fasting, you don't get hit so badly. Now, before I go to the other session. I want to mention this. It is not always possible that you will have a time of preparation to get into a fast. There are some things that can happen. Or you can get a message and all of a sudden there is no time to prepare. You just feel in your spirit. This is something I need to take before God. I need to pray and engage the spiritual discipline of fasting. So there are occasions like that, for example, like when Paul had an encounter with Jesus in the road to Damascus, we are told, for three days he did not eat or drink. There was no time to prepare. He just needed time with God to understand all that has happened to him. So what am I saying? There are times you can prepare, but there are incidences and times when there is no time to prepare. And times when there is no time to prepare okay, and we'll see some of those as I go to look at the other sessions that I have seen. So, number one prepare your heart to fast. Imagine especially if it is going to be a couple of days of fasting. You can prepare yourself for your fasting. Let's go to the other session. Number two right motives. Have right motives. When you are getting into a fast, all right. When you are getting into a fast, alright.
Speaker 1:James, chapter 4. In verse 3. We all know James there says In James 4, verse 3. You ask, and you do not receive, because you ask With wrong motives, that you may spend it On your pleasures. It's very important for us to say this and make sure we understand If you are getting into prayer, if you are getting into a fast and your motives are not right, you will get nothing from the Lord. God does not bend to our whims, to our fleshly minds, to our fleshly desires. God does not do that. He wants us to have the right motive. Okay, so you can get even into a 40 days fasting, but if your motive was not right, you will only end up become skinny like a needle. But you will get nothing from the Lord. All right, get the right motives. You are asking okay, pastor, what are the example? Is there any example of a right motive? And there are so many. Okay, james there mentions that people praying for purposes of getting something from God that they may spend on their pleasures, all they're thinking is about the earthly things, the things of this world. They just want to spend on others. That is a wrong motive. Another example of a wrong motive let me mention.
Speaker 1:This is good for preachers, for those of you who are aspiring. You are in ministry or something else. You are fasting to be great and famous. Ah, I have done that. People do that all the time. You go into a period of fasting, into a period of prayer, and all you want is, oh God, I want you to anoint me so that I can be famous, that famous preacher, that mighty healer that is known all over the world, and all that. So your motive is all about yourself, it's all about your name. You want to be known, you want to make money, you want to be famous. You are trying to promote yourself, and so you get into a season of fasting so that you can get the anointing to do it. This is very dangerous. Beloved.
Speaker 1:If you are listening to me and you are a preacher, you have to understand. God sees motives and god judges our motives in what we are doing. All right, and there are people hear me, this is just coming in my spirit there are people who have gone into a period of fasting like that so that they can have their anointing to do miracles and to do wonders and to do all kinds, and they have ended up receiving inspiration or anointing from satanic kingdom. Yes, there is a lot of miracles that are happening out there and many of those who are doing it, they are doing it thinking it is God who has anointed them to do. It is God who has given them the power to do it. But you know the spiritual realm two there's the kingdom of light and there's a kingdom of darkness. All right, if you're not getting anointed by god, then you're getting the anointing from satan.
Speaker 1:And and you can be so hungry, you know, you know, if you want to make money and you're fasting to make money, the Bible is very clear. These verses are just coming in my heart, you know, and they're not even in my notes, Like 1 Timothy. 1 Timothy, chapter 6, paul says there the love of money is a root cause of all evil and he says because of that, many have strayed from the faith, have wandered away from the faith and have pierced themselves with many heartaches. You see, so somebody is so hungry for money, he wants to be famous, he wants to make money. All he's thinking is about the limousines, the cars and the things that they will get when they have the anointing and everyone is giving them, offering, and they don't realize they are exposing themselves in the spiritual realm to receive an anointing from satanic kingdom and they will not realize. They will be proud and miracles will happen. You know, you have to remember.
Speaker 1:Jesus said in the last days I don't even know where this is coming from, beloved, this is not in my notes, but this is something that the Spirit is saying and I believe he's saying to somebody. Maybe it's one, somebody who will listen. So Jesus said in the last day. Some will come and tell him Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name? Didn't we heal the sick in your name? Didn't we do blah, blah, blah, blah in your name. And he will say away from me, you, workers of evil, I did not know you. That is in Matthew, chapter 7, verse 21.
Speaker 1:In other words, these people are genuine, they are sincere, they think and they are convinced that what they are doing is God, because they say in the name of Jesus, and it is happening. And so they feel oh, god is working, god is doing it, and yet all this time they got a wrong spirit. The devil came in. The devil knows well, because the devil is just wanting people to go to hell, and so if he can have you and you're proud and you're feeling you're better than anybody else, he will give you everything, as long as you end up to hell. Okay, so hear that. So what is the right motive? Are you saying we should not seek God, that God will anoint us for miracles? No, I'm not saying that, sir. I'm not saying that, ma'am. What I am saying is our motive is right.
Speaker 1:Why am I fasting? I am praying and fasting because I want to see the move of God. I want people of God to be healed. I want those who are broken, I want those who are suffering, I want those who are tormented to receive help from God. And so I am setting myself and cleansing myself and asking God if it pleases you, use me to bring help. So my intention is not about that people will know about me. It's not about people will come to me. It's not about people will bring offerings to me. No, I am looking at the sufferings of the people. I am looking at the need. I want the church to grow. I want people to come into the kingdom, I want people to be saved, and so I have to search my heart and cleanse myself and prepare myself and say God, use me for your kingdom. Whether I am known or I am not known, that makes no difference. But God, let your hand be seen and your breakthrough be there. Lift up your hand and say I hear you If you are there. Let me see your hand if you are with me. Amen, amen. So you do that.
Speaker 1:You have a right motive. Let may mention one wrong motive. One wrong motive. I don't know I've said too much there. I have three sessions more, two sessions more, okay.
Speaker 1:So another example of a motive. Let's say, for example, if you've been hurt by a person, maybe your neighbor, maybe your boss, maybe the people that you work with, and they have really, really hurt you badly and you want them to know that you serve a living God, so you say I am going to get into prayer and fasting, I will fast, and what you're fasting is God. I want you to punish, I want you to come down and punish and destroy that person. Let them know that I serve a living God, let them know I am a child of God. You see, you are fasting, you are praying so that somebody else can be punished. That's a wrong motive. God is not going to answer that, because the Bible is very clear.
Speaker 1:Jesus said if your enemy is hungry, you give them water. Pray for your enemy. God wants to help. I know it's hard. It's hard, especially people who have hurt you, people who have wronged you. You know you want something to happen to them. You want something to happen to them and you feel like it will vindicate you. You feel like it will make you look better. You know you feel like you God. They will know that I am a child of God. No, god doesn't work like that. Okay, we are growing up, we are maturing. What are we saying? We get into a fast with the right motives. If you have an enemy, you pray for it. Let God deal with them the way God wants to deal with them. You have no business of fasting and praying so that your enemies can be hurt. You have no business.
Speaker 1:For example, maybe you have started a church Let me mention this one has just come into, my has come maybe you have started a ministry or you have started a church and you get into prayer and fasting and all that. Your your heart in your motive, your your, your reason for doing it. You want God to lift up your church so that the other churches can know you are the one who God has anointed, you are the one who has the favor of God. So you have a competitive spirit. The work of God. We don't compete. There is no competition in the work of God. Just serve God. Let God bless the work as he pleases.
Speaker 1:Okay, you can go and recite the messages I preached about wrong motives in prayer. I think it's somewhere in our teaching series. You can go and recite. I could go on and on. So number one, number two right motives. Let's go to number three. All right, I say number three and then number four, so we'll be out here in a minute. All right, right attitude. Not only should you have the right motives in your prayer, in your fasting, you also need to have right attitude. And here I want us to listen carefully. I want us to listen carefully Right attitude. Part one of right attitude, because I have two or three there. Part one of right attitude Provide room for the sovereign will of God.
Speaker 1:When you get into a time of prayer and fasting. I think this is the most important in this part is you have to provide room for the sovereignty of God For the sovereign will of God. When I started teaching on fasting, I said fasting, we don't fast in order to bend God or to change God. No, that's not our motive. No, we are just humbling ourselves. So what do we mean by the sovereignty of God? What do we mean by the sovereignty of God? What do we mean? It means this when we say God is sovereign, it means God, who he says he is, he does what he says he wants to do in the time that he wants to do it. That way you cannot bend God to your whims and your will. No, god. So you, you get into a fast. But even when you are getting into a fast, you have made provision. You have made provision provide for the sovereign will of god. And I I want to show you good examples. Let's go to 2 Samuel, chapter 12. 2 Samuel, chapter 12, verse 15.
Speaker 1:The Nathan departed to his house and the Lord struck the child that Uriah's wife bore to David, and it became ill. David therefore pleaded with God for the child, and David fasted and went in and lay all night on the ground. So the elders of his house arose and went to him to raise him up from the ground, but he would not. Nor did he eat food with them, but he would not, nor did he eat food with them. Then, on the seventh day, it came to pass that the child died and the servants of David were afraid to tell him that the child was dead. For they said indeed, while the child was alive, we spoke to him and he would not heed our voice. How can we tell him that the child is dead? He may do some harm.
Speaker 1:When David saw that his servants were whispering, david perceived that the child was dead. Therefore, david said to his servants is the child dead? And they said he is dead. So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself and changed his clothes and went into the house of the Lord and worshipped. Then he went to his own house and when he requested, they set food before him and he ate. Then his servants said to him what is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child has died, you arose and you ate food. And verse 22,. And he said While the child was alive, I fasted and wept, for I said who can tell whether the Lord will be gracious to me that the child may live, but now he is dead. Why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.
Speaker 1:Very plain, beloved. You see that. You see David is fasting and this is the first. He didn't have to prepare because the prophet leaves and the child becomes sick Immediately. There is no preparation, as I said, and he goes into prayer and he passes and he is praying. The elders come and eat and he refuses.
Speaker 1:And when the child has died, the Bible says David rises up, he takes a shower. David rises up, he takes a shower, he anoints himself and he goes to the house of the Lord. And what does he do? He goes in to worship God. Then he goes home and he eats his food and the elders say what are you doing? Why do you do that? When the child was alive you did not eat. Now the child is dead, you are eating food and rejoicing and worshiping God. What is the meaning of that? I love what he says.
Speaker 1:When the child was still sick and alive, I prayed and fasted and he says who knows, who knows whether God will have mercy and heal the child? What am I saying? Beloved David gave room for the sovereignty of God. Whether God was going to heal him, that was God's prerogative. Whether the child was going to die, that was God's prerogative. When the child was going to die, that was God's prerogative. He was not trying to untwist God and say Lord, because I have fasted, then you must heal my boy. You must no, no, no. So what am I saying?
Speaker 1:When we go into a season of fasting, when we go into a season of prayer, we are giving room to the sovereignty of God. We are fasting for the city. We are fasting for the sick to be healed. We are fasting for God to do wonders, to pour out his spirit. We are hungry for God, but we must give room to the sovereign will of God. Let God do what he wants. He knows our hearts, he knows the future, he sees things we don't see. So we allow God to say Lord, we will not start accusing God. Say Lord, I fasted, I went for 21 days and you didn't do nothing. I prayed for seven days and fasted. I went for 21 days and you didn't do nothing. I prayed for seven days and fasted. I denied myself and look what nothing has happened. You see, you are trying to twist God. You are going before God, thinking because you have done that, then God is obligated. No, make room. Let God see you are sincere, but you leave God to do what he wants to do. Whether he does it or not, that does not change our worship. I love David. Even after the child is dead, even before burial, he washes himself, he anoints himself and he goes into the house of the Lord and worships God. What a heart, you see that. What a heart so beloved. We are going to go into a season of prayer and fasting, but our attitudes should be right Now. There are several other areas, but our attitudes should be right Now. There are several other areas. I wanted to give you examples of people who have given God the sovereignty.
Speaker 1:You can go and read for yourself Esther, chapter 4. My wife already preached about Esther. Esther, chapter 4, verse 16. Esther, chapter 4, verse 16. You see Esther there telling the maids, telling Mordecai go and tell Mordecai to tell all the Jews to fast for me, and me and my maids, we will go in and fast for three days. We will not eat, we will not drink for three days. And what does Esther say there? He says I will go into the presence of the king. I will go into the presence of the king If I perish. I perish. See that they were going to fast, they were going to pray, but she gave room. She said I don't know what God will do. I don't know what God will do, but I will take the risk. I will go before the king and if God chooses not to answer my prayer and fasting and the king says, kill her because she has come into the presence of the king before she was called, that's fine, let me die. If God gives me mercy and allows me to live before the king, fine. Esther gave God his sovereignty to decide what to do with her. You see that. Let me read one more, one more with you.
Speaker 1:Let's go to Joel, chapter 2. Joel, the book of Joel, chapter 2, verse 12 to 14. Joel, joel, chapter 2. It's good for you to see this because I don't want us to get into a fuss. And then we start. We start blaming God. Our attitudes are wrong. We are thinking, ah, because I have fasted. Then God, no, no, no, god is God and he will remain God. Even if you choose to walk away from God, he will. Even if we pray, people are healed. People are not healed. That makes no difference. Before God we are praying, we are fasting, not to change God, but to change our hearts ourselves, our attitudes. Before God. Does that make sense? All right, it is not changing God. It is us who are being changed.
Speaker 1:Joel, chapter 2, verse 12, 13 and 14. Listen it says. Now, therefore, says the Lord, turn to me with all. This is God saying. Okay, this is God saying all right, I'll read it again. Now, therefore, says the Lord, turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping and with mourning. So rend your heart and not your garments. So rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness, and he relents from doing harm. Look at verse 14. Who knows? Who knows you have to underline that statement? Who knows? Who knows you have to underline that statement? Who knows? Underline that statement. Who knows if you will turn and relent and leave a blessing behind, a grain offering and a drink offering for the Lord, your God? I love that God is calling people to faith because there's judgment on the land. There's judgment on the land and God proclaims who he is. He says I am merciful, I am gracious, I am slow to anger, I relent from sending calamities. That's who I am. And he says who knows when you get to fasting, who knows if God will relent and change his mind and, instead of punishment and judgment, turn it into a blessing. And there is a blessing so beloved.
Speaker 1:We go into fast, we go into pray. We don't know what God wants to do with us. We don't know, but we release. We know this is what God wants us to do. We do it with a light attitude and giving room for the sovereign will of God. I don't have time to go to Jonah. You can go and read for yourself Jonah, chapter 3, 3, verse 5 to 10. You will see the same thing. The king saying the same thing. He says who can tell if God will turn and relent and turn away from his fierce anger so that we may not perish? That is in Jonah. Jonah, chapter 3, verse 5 to 10. You will see the same thing.
Speaker 1:What is the second thing that you have to have about your attitude? So I said, in the right attitude, I have three points. Point number one provide for the sovereign will of God. Point number two maintain a humble spirit. Do you know? It is possible to fast, but you are still very proud.
Speaker 1:Some people, their fasting is out of pride, their fasting to show off it is. Look at me, look at the way I fast. I'm able to fast 10 days. I'm able to fast 21. That's not humility. Jesus says lock yourself. Let God who sees, let God who sees what is done in secret, reward you openly. Maintain a humble spirit. You know, I read a statement in my studies. It says not all people who fast are humble. Oh, sorry, let me take that back. It says humble people fast, but not all who fast are humble. You go and think about it If you are humble, because we have learned here humility. When God is talking about humility, most of the time is about fasting. We saw that right. There's humble people fast, but not all people who fast are humble. Some fasting is out of arrogance.
Speaker 1:And then number three right attitude. This one we have already learned so I will not belabor it. Remove oppression when you are fasting. Have a right attitude. Make sure you remove all kinds of oppression. Isaiah, chapter 58, verse 3 and 4. We already learned that. You can hear that where God is saying you guys are fasting wrongly. You are oppressing your servants, you are mistreating people. You are not doing the right thing. God says you cannot fast like the way you do. Your attitudes are wrong, your motives are wrong. You don't have a right heart when you come into your fast and God says I will not listen to you. Isaiah, chapter 58.
Speaker 1:We go to the last one. I said prepare. Number two, I said right motives. Number three, I said right attitude. And then number four right kind of fasting, how to fast. Remember we are talking about how do I fast. You have to choose the right kind of fasting for you.
Speaker 1:Okay, I don't have time to get into the depth of this. All I will say is some statements. Not all fasting is suitable for all people. You have to decide what level of fasting, and I talked about types of fasting. Go, listen to that and choose what kind of fasting is appropriate for you. There are people with medical conditions. If you are going to go for a day, that may not be a problem, okay. But you are going to go for a couple of days and you have a medical condition that may not make that possible. You better consult your physician, talk to your doctor about it and decide you may be suitable for the Daniel fast, the one that we have read in Daniel, chapter 10. That he will drink from all kinds of pleasant food, and from meat and from wine Anything pleasant. He stayed away from it, but he was eating. Now, listen, daniel was eating for three weeks, only that he avoided some food, but God saw that as fasting. And after three weeks, an angel came to visit him to answer him and say, daniel, when you set your heart to seek the face of the Lord, god heard your words.
Speaker 1:Okay, so it is not about the length. You have to decide how long am I going to? What kind of fasting am I going to take? Okay, there's some people who are on medication, for example, these medications, they are told by the doctor you have to take them with food. So it is not one size fits all. No, you get to choose. You get to choose what is the right kind of fasting that is appropriate for you. There are some people who can only fast, like the Muslim fast, for example. Okay, the Muslim fast, it is. They eat one meal per day, yes, one meal per day, at night, and they can go on. They go on for 30 days. Now, that is that the fire, the first thing that you can afford. Go ahead. Are you just going to do a daniel fast? Go for it. Are you going to go water only? Go for it. How long? You know? I told you, uh, jehoshaphat fasted for just one day. One day from morning to evening, and god, in the evening, came. So there's difference in length, there's difference in kinds. You get to choose what kind of fasting that is necessary.
Speaker 1:If I set a rule, if I set a rule here and tell you all of us are going to say, with this kind of food, we are not going to eat this, then I will be violating the scriptures. I will be bringing you into a condemnation. It's called a religious spirit. It's a religious spirit. It's as if I am telling you if you just take this kind of food, then you are broken. You are fast. No, no, no, no.
Speaker 1:Let me read Colossians. I'll finish with Colossians. I like my teachings to be complete. In Colossians there was a cult that was going on. Colossians, chapter 2. There was a cult that was teaching people that they have to deny themselves okay, so that you can be right with God. If you don't do that, then you're not right with God. Paul came down. Those of you who love to study the Bible and why this was written, go and study. Why did Paul write to the Colossians and talk like this in Colossians, chapter two?
Speaker 1:But let me read a couple of verses, verse 16. I'm reading from verse 16. So let no one judge you in food or in drink or in regarding a festival or a new moon or Sabbath, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and the worship of angels, including intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly packed by his fleshly mind and not holding fast to the head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together by joint and ligament, grows with the increase that is from God. Verse 12, 20,. Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations Do not touch, do not test, do not handle which are all concerning things which will perish with the using according to the commandments and doctrines of men? These things indeed, have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility and the neglect of the body, but have no value against indulgence of the flesh. Go and study that we have run out of time of the flesh. Go and study that we have run out of time.
Speaker 1:But it was a cult that was propagating. It's called asceticism. It's called asceticism. I don't have time to get into that, but maybe when we come to expositions of Colossians we will go into that. But asceticism is where people feel they are more spiritual when they punish their body, when they break their body. That's when you're more closer to God.
Speaker 1:No, no, no. Jesus has already taken the punishment for us to be right with God. That's what Paul is talking about there. So we are not trying to earn, or to earn our salvation or to earn. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. There's nothing we earn from God Food for the stomach and stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.
Speaker 1:We fast, choose the kind of fasting. Now, what are you going to fast? How are you going to fast? I can't put a rule for you. That's a religious spirit. For example, maybe my son is having some soccer games and I have put a rule. There is no food in the house and now he has games and he needs the energy and the team is counting on him and there he is struggling.
Speaker 1:Oh, dad said we are not eating, we are fasting and so if I don't eat I am breaking a spiritual law. I have to be right with God. No, no, no, no, no, no. That's not the right thing. Okay, that's religion. Religion is the one that imposes rules Don't eat, don't touch, don't do this. We don't live in do's and don'ts. We live. We do things not because we want to be this way. We do because we are. We are already children of God and we are just setting ourselves time, not imposing harsh treatment of the body, as though that will honor something before God.
Speaker 1:I hope I am not confusing you. Fasting is important. Fasting has benefits, both physical and spiritual benefits. We only need to have right motives, right attitude and doing it the right way. I hope you take time to look at all those teachings we have brought together and so that when you are practicing, you do things in the right way and the God of heaven right way, and the God of heaven, who sees what you do in darkness, when nobody else is seeing, will reward you openly. God bless you. We'll see you in our next teaching, amen.
